Mag'har orcs were originally FrIkY's idea, I don't see why everyone is copying him. Anyways, the skin needs a lot of work, it looks very bad right now. The parts you did edit look very bad(simple, scribbled, makes no sense, colors look horrible), and you didn't edit much either, most of the skin(wolf, face, hair...) are still the same as in the original one.

Aperently FrIkY has copy right on making Maghar skins? He didn't do all of them, so some people deside to make some of the ones he didn't do.

I think the skin's basic idea is nice, but the chest looks like wood. I can't tell, but I think the face and the arms are recolor, you'll need to freehand them for this to be approved, along with the wolf.

I meant that it's his idea to reskin orcs to Mag'har orcs. Seriously, if he DIDN'T do those skins NO ONE would make any Mag'har orcs. And who knows, what if FrIkY still plans to skin more Mag'har orcs? Then it'll be kinda awkward, he'll have much less skins to... err.. Re-skin.

Anyways, that's what I think about the skin. How exactly can I help you? I'm not a 2D artist, I'm merely stating my opinion. I can tell you one thing - you'll definitely need to practice a lot and read tutorials.

lol, originally they were world of warcraft's idea. But the thing is, they are great for lore before the warlock/demon corruption on dreanor :p

But anyways this skin does need work. Especial the chest. Use the smudge tool to make the lines look better, and make him look ripped. And then shading need shading...

Smudge, burn, dodge are the "forbidden" tools here

What? If you use them the right way they can be really useful.

DemonHunter50: Your skin needs more shadings and highlights. However keep in mind that the sun comes from above. Right now this looks cartoony, at the hive we don't like cartoony skins. Try out the different things in Mr. Goblin's tutorial.

But well practice alot and you'll get better.

Hey, better than my first skin.. I tried to alpha out a shoulder pad and didn't realize nothing was beneath. long story short, the inside of that archer was fugly.

I think that for the chest, instead of just drawing darker lines under where the pectorals are, you should use a lighten tool and darken tool (dunno what program you used for exact name and icon to tell you) to make the shoulders lighter than the abs. Think of the sun shining down and the shoulders blocking some of the light. To indicate muscle definition, give a sudden darker line, run the smudge tool along it to smooth out the shadow transition, and continue the shadow underneath the muscle for a short ways to give it a 3D look.

If you don't mind, may I edit that to show you what I mean? I could make each step I said and post em here, or where would you like them if not in this thread?
