LOTR Builder v1.2 Reborn

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

Originally Revived, this version was reworked by me.

Lord of the Rings Builder Reborn 1.0
Balance Improvements:
-Massive attack spash radius greatly decreased (Large 150, down from 300/ Small 75, down from 150);
-Ent Hit Points, attack power and attack speed decreased (Ent hp 900, down from 1000, attack speed 5.0, up from 3.0, attack damage 80, down from 100. Ent Rockthrower hp 800, down from 900, attack speed 8.00, up from 6.00, attack damage 80, down from 100.);
-Mumakil arrow volley no longer stuns.
-Eastern Barbarian's Berserk abillity effectiveness decreased (attack speed +30%, down from +50%. Duration 6 sec, down from 12 sec. Damage taken decreased slightly.);
-Uruk-Hai crossbowman now price increase (now costs 75g, down from 16g.);
-Horn of the White Tower abillity power decreased (provides +30% attack power down from +60%);
-Fire Trap abillity improved (Radius increased to 500, up from 300)
-Balrog weakened (Hit points = 1600, down from 2000)
-Shelob stronger (attack power = 120, up from 100.)
Minor terrain changes:
-Added sewer at Helm's Deep. Improved it's walls.
-Moria expanded.
-Duneland surrounded by fences.
Gameplay:
-Added Travelling merchants that sell items to heroes.
-Shelob now drops an item (see what).
-Hostile Ents infront of eastern path to Fangorn removed.
-I was supposed to add Gandalf and Radagast heroes to be trained at Tavern, but I encountered a problem - they dont count as a hero and they can be trained both! Removed them until I solve the problem or somebody helps me by opening it and fix the problem.
Model fixing:
-decreased size of Mounted Horse Archer (0.90, down from 1.00)
-Legolas remain with Sylvanas model, sry, but Legolas custom model sometimes dissapears ingame.


1.1 version:
Gameplay:
-Fixed capturing Giants; now a Giant can only be captured by using Valar Contract.
-Oath and Honor abillity now instantly spawns dwarven troops.
Terrain change:
-Osgilliath explanded, now there should be enough space to build.
-New Dwarven base, Gray mountains.
-Helm's deep sewer now useable to use for attackers.
Balance:
-Elven unit's hp slightly decreased.
-Ent unit's hp slightly decreased.
-Food requered of units that have Massive attack increased by 1.
-Elven ranger's attack range decreased slightly.(850, down from 1000.)

For fuck sake the one thing that should be done in this damn map is to nerf the elven rangers range!!! 1000 Is too much to bear even for the best damn defenses >.> . And in my opinion it's just stupid that the rangers have more range then a ballista/tower <.< .

Why, I changed it in version 1.1? Now is 850. Or should I decrease it even more? They're supposed to be good archers...

-Free 2house for each player at the bottom of the map so they gets basic income and will not cry for gold when they build wrong.

Well Comrade.Rat I think it should be possible for a tower or a ballista to hit it at the same range. Like if the tower range is 700 (Im not really shure how much it is) the rangers range should also be 700. But every other rangers Range to be like 500 or something. Oh and i was wondering (From other LOTR builder maps) can you add doors or something?

I agree. I'll either decrease elven archer's attack range or i'll increase tower and siege machine's range.

-Which buildings do you mean?
-Personally I dont like gates. People will build their own gate if they want one. But....if I notice people REALLY do like gate system, then i'll have to obey....
-Terrain will be slowly improved from time to time.
-Why should a leader become a hero? You have 1 hero that you can use in battles, Leaders are supposed to be hidden somewhere or loaded inside fortresses. Please explain why you think Leaders must be Heroes?
-I do not agree that. Sorry, but game lags like hell if each player trains more than 100 units.
-Indeed, some bases a little tiny, but I must also follow Tolkien's map. Some places are meant to be small....About the 2 entrances, I'll think about it.
-Rings, yes. I was just thinking about that. But which ones? Nazguls have the Nine. Four of Seven Sauron took. The other three are destroyed by dragons. So only the Three Rings of Power left. But one is held by Galadriel, second one is in Gandalf and third - in Elrond. But I might add an option lesser Rings to be able to be found.
-I'll do that.

Well... Every building's size. So it looked more realistic.
Leader suppose to be hidden sounds really funny. But its your choice, anyway I think you can give some auras to leaders. Because when the leader are there soldiers fight hard.
For the no food mode....... Its for fun. Well. Its your choice.
Also the map looks a little small. Try to expand it!

Okay ,I'll increase building's size. I will add aura to leaders. About the food, yes, I know some people like to make large army, but first, controlling such an army is hard, and second, as I told before, it will lag as hell.
About the size map....It's nearly at it's maximum. I can expand it little more, but...It's already Epic...

If you were to edit anothers work, you should show us that they gave you permission to do so.

I edited it becouse Revived version was screwed, and Revived version is hosted most, so I tried (and I think I did) to make the game more balanced, mainly fixing that massive attack thing from the Revived version.
And btw at the trigger comment of Revived version it was said that editing is permitted as long as I give credits to original creators. And I do.
