Another mounted unit from my lord of the rings set :) I have made this for the bandit lord, so that the gondor and rohan mounts can be used in the same map :) Enjoy!

I really like the vast majority of the metallic bits on this skin. However, the shin-guards don't seem to wrap well on either the front or back of the legs, they end up going halfway down the feet on the front and look rather bright on the back of the legs.

The face of this guy suffers from the same shortcomings as your other knight skin as well, the color difference was probably there before but the separation of the upper and lower half of the face by the helmet makes it look more noticeable and out of place.

Something about the horse doesn't seem quite right either. I know WC3 horses don't look very much like horses, but with the texture of the brown on the horse it reminds me a lot of a sock puppet. Perhaps a break in the covering over the horse could be made around the mane, and the edges of the (leather?) covering over the head and neck of the horse could be more easily visible from above.

The scalemail on this guy kicks ass though, looks very nice. I like the scratches on the helmet to :)

Thanks for the review :D I'll see if I can make those improvements ;)

EDIT: ok! I've changed the colour of the chin to match the skin above the moustache, I've also re-positioned the boot plate, and I've also added a cape to make the skin appears more "Green" :)

I can't get any of your skins to work on my map (including this one). Is the path you listed with your submission wrong? Or is this another problem entirely? I lost my list of paths for the units a long time ago so I can't check it myself.

And I've been importing files into maps for years, so I do know what I'm doing.

Yea, I just tried importing it myself and I couldn't get it to show :S

Hang on, let me double check the paths :)

Thanks a bunch, Cloud. I just got a look at your skins on a map and they are absolutely perfect. I'd love to see more Lord of the Rings skins from you in the future, particularly your take on the evil side. Either way, great job. You will definitely be getting credit if I ever manage to fix my next project.
