Lieutenant Sarah Kerrigan - StarCraft I

"Lieutenant Kerrigan reporting..."

I present you, Kerrigan, the Ghost Lieutenant, once brilliant ghost, she was betrayed by the man who saved her life, and for that she would become the Queen of the Blades, later on, the Heart of the Swarm, and then, the Phoenix Xel'Naga.

Abilities:

Passive - C10 Canister Rifle: Kerrigan's rifle have some UNIQUE properties:
  • Bullets capped to a maximum of 5;
  • The last bullet fired is an explosive one, dealing AOE damage nearby the main target;
  • Reload time is 2 seconds (decreased by CDR);
First Ability - Cloak: Kerrigan's suit allows her to be invisible for 10 seconds. Her next basic attack while invisible will break the effect, but will deal 20/40/60/80/100% additional damage.

Second Ability - Weak Spot: For the next 5 seconds, Kerrigan's visor will mark a targeted enemy hero. Her basic attacks on the marked enemy will deal only her Base Damage, but as True Damage.

Third Ability - Assassinate: Kerrigan marks an enemy hero to die and then she prepares a might shot for 2 seconds (channeling). After this she fires her rifle, and the bullet will take its way to the marked target, piercing through any enemy that is in its way. The bullet deals 100/155/210/265/320 (+80%Agility) (+55%Strength) plus 25% of target's missing Health as Physical Damage.

The bullet deals 5% less damage for every enemy that pierces, up to a maximum of 50% and a minimum of 33%.

Ultimate Ability - Nuclear Silo Launch: Kerrigan marks a targeted area to receive an incoming nuclear missile. After descending from the skies for 3 seconds the missile explodes on a huge area, dealing 600/900/1200 (+125%Agility) (+100%Intelligence) as Magic Damage.

Hidden Passive - Psionic Essence: Every time a nearby ally or enemy casts a spell (don't consider items nor herself), she gains 0.25 Intelligence.

Keywords:
Sarah, Kerrigan, Ghost, Assassin, Terran, StarCraft, Lieutenant

UPDATE:
  • Bugs fixed
  • Canister's scope size changed
  • New Animation (Stand Channel and Spell Throw)
  • Portrait's Face changes
UPDATE 2:
  • Changes in the Portrait Hair
  • Better Icons (suggested by @Blood Raven )
BREAKING UPDATE:
  • Now Stand Channel and Spell Throw animations are refined, by that I mean: In Stand Channel Kerrigan now get down on her knees instead of doing this in static way; and now Canister's scope and Kerrigan's head are matching up so she can view her target.
UPDATE 3:
  • Changes in her body'n'Portrait
  • Eye on Scope Attack Animations (suggested by @deepstrasz )

Review: Approved Model looks nice and fits warcraft 3 very well, even though it is supposed to be a starcraft model. You managed to make her look futuristic enough, although I think you could have experimented with different armor textures.
Looks kinda neat, although there are some stuff that bothers me:
1. The hair is too huge. The portrait in SC1 shows her with straight shoulder-length hair, not the huge mane you added. Also (flashback) cinematics in SC2 show her with a ponytail of the same length.
2. The animation set isn't the best-fitting one, but I understand not wanting to make custom animations. Still, a less astraddled posture would be more fitting for a ghost. Also the lack of channel animation (guiding a nuke) cripples its usefulness. There is actually such an animation, my bad.
3. The icon right now is really derpy and low quality. I suggest either requesting one that more looks like her SC1 portrait or doing one yourself with photoshop/GIMP. You could use a screenshot as base.

3/5 (+rep) for now, let me know when this is updated.

1 - I've based her in SC1 sprite model, not her portrait. Her hair in the sprite model is half her size.

2 - The only custom animations are from her hair and the Stand Channel/Spell Throw. The Rifleman Animation was the best one I could ever thought. PS: Stand Channel was made for the nuke guidance, as you can check. Unless that in your computer the model viewer in Hive does not show the Stand Channel, which is followed by Spell Throw (animations made for her Assassinate Skill).

3 - The icon was made by screenshoting the portrait model, however I lack skills in placing correctly the icon to be good looking. Icons that don't match the model are useless for me. Indeed they're low quality, dunno what happened. I also have no skills in Photoshop nor in GIMP.

Hmm, good points. Updated to 4/5
Also my bad, there is a channel animation. As a side note, I never noticed Kerrigan had a unique sprite in SC1, I thought she used the default ghost one. :p Her sprite seems to have a ponytail though. A rather huge ponytail :D

Although those new generation games such as WoW, SC2, Diablo III, Skyrim and others can show Godly Graphics, I still love the old school games such as WC1 and WC2, SC1, Diablo I and Diablo II. I like them for the simplicity.

She doesn't shoot a sniper rifle.
Would be nice to have a goggles on animation.
4/5.

I've seen a lots of Canister Rifle models and for it seems, they are sniper rifles. Instead of the Gauss Rifle which is a semi-automatic, like P90. And since the attack range of Ghosts are greater than Marine's I assumed that Canister C-10 is sniper rifle, with explosive shells.

I was referring to the animation. Shooting a sniper rifle requires the eye on the scope.

Are you kidding? Look closer. She actually puts the weapon near her right elbow to aim as opposed to your model's animation based on the WcIII Marine's attack animation.

Almost near, but its like a .762 I guess.

I'll fix this later. In this computer I made a favor to uninstall the WC3, lost everything, all my models, MDLVis, WC3ME,...well...all

Ahhh, nostalgia.

Wouldn't mind seeing her with a basic attack animation.

Death animation's a bit odd for her, too. Then again, the way she died in SC1 would be a pain to replicate here.

Only thing that looks anything like it would be the "gibbed" animation for units who take a siege bolt in the face at low HP.

Definitely a 4/5, though. Good eye for detail.
