Legend of the Azshara

This is a campaign about Felhala, young elf archer who is thought to be daughter of Cenarius...

It begins at the end of W3:Reign of Chaos
when Orcs came to the Kalimdor...

You will find custom heroes, units, items and spells here...
In the third map you will play for a Furbolg race...

There are only six maps...
but i will add other maps as soon as it is possible...

So...after a long time of silence...
I want to write something about my progress on the campaign...

I'm still working on the seventh map...Forgotten City of Mitharanth...

so...what is already done...

I believe I could make it before end of this year, perhaps in December...

Bugs:
-In the first map at the first cinematic the hill is made VERY INACCURATELY, +I can't skip the cinematic - use "Player - skips a cinematic" event;
-Felhola, son of Cenarius, at the first map, first cinematic, says "I will not fail you... father..." PLEASE REPLACE THE "..." WITH ",";
-A passive icon is used as an autocast icon (Feljola's ability "Blade Arrows"). I recommend you to use the "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNColdArrowsOn" And "BTNColdArrowsOff";
-First mission, PLEASE CHANGE THE OWNER OF THE ENCHANTED GEMSTONE OBELISK to the Light Blue;
-First mission: enable Player 11, give Light Blue (Player11) a name and disable it again;
-First mission, first cinematic: PLEASE TURN THE CINEMATIC MODE ON AT THE INITIALIZATION TRIGGER (the screen must not begin darkened that way);
-First mission: ground is too rude. PLEASE SMOOTH IT AND MAKE HILLS RARELY ON THE MAP, NOT EVERYWHERE MINOR HILLS;

That's not over. I'm out of time. And please, don't write "..." everywhere even in cinematic's units' transmissions - it's annoying. +You must keep in mind that characters who speak ARE NOT YOU, you must introduce them to the player. (I mean don't write "..." for the Cenarius (he doesn't deserve that).);
-A "Cripple" buff is used for Moon Armor spell. The buff icon is wrong, the buff description is wrong;
-Campaign is not protected and maps inside the campaign are not protected too;
-All buttons are visible. You must know that after finishing a mission in a campaign, the button containing the mission following after that one you've won can be unhidden using "Game - Unhide Custom Campaign Button" or it will unhide automatically. PLEASE TEST IT YOURSELF;
-first mission: Mount hippogryph ability is not disabled. Use "Scenario\Upgrade Properties..." for that;
-first mission: Tome of Intelligence lies right on the ground - that's not right;
-first mission: plays a SOUND when I come near the Tome of Intelligence;
-first mission: quest description is incorrect, you should add "-Felhala must survive", because you will lose if he dies;
-first mission: not all Light Blue's units are invulnerable;
-Felhala: Night's daughter. The "daughter" word has it's first letter not capitalized. And I don't think that Cenarius is the night...;
-fist mission: second cinematic: the driud's transmission message is too... stupid. +There's the Horn of Cenarius pedestal, but I think that the Horn of Cenarius is hold by Felhala, and the Pedestal is not at that place at all (IT's GUARDED BY 3 GUARDIANS) +I think that until Cenarius has died, his horn was found by Furion at the pedestal - that means that Cenarius never held that Horn with him, and, sure, didn't give it to the daughter;
-first mission: Key of the Bridge quest. It MUST be initially undiscovered;
-Felhala's ability "Fire forst" - change to this: "|cffffcc00F|rire Frost";
-first mission: Murloc huts are destroyable, but they drop no items on death - that's not right;
-Felhala can't hide;
-Too many creeps, too few units;
-Difficulty levels have no difference between them;
-NO HOPE for this campaign 3/10 Leaking;

I would like to write here that I liked the campaign story and I am waiting for the other maps. Although, this campaign difficulty was very high at times. For example, when you control only Salen'dra (or whatever her name is) and you have to take the three relics. Most creatures are to powerful to defeat. Because of this I passed that mission using the "Thereisnospoon" cheat code. Also it says that when I take the three relics I must return to the Circle of Power but in fact when I take them all a cinematic appears that shows Salen'dra going to the Circle of Power.
Whatever I like the story so far so I am waiting for the next maps.

furion did NOT found the horn tyrande did
and the horn was meant to make furion and the other druids arise
(cuz they are asleep...well except for the druid of the claw) :grin::grin:

It's a promising campaign, here are some suggestions to improve it:

- especially at the beginning, but throughout the whole campaing, try to diversify creeps a little bit more. Killing hordes of spiders gets boring after a while. Maybe creating small villages of other monsters (and possibly a couple of side quests attached to them) would defintely improve the overall result.

- Add more powerful items, it's simply cool :)

- there are same typoos here and there, but nothing that can't be fixed easily.

- adding same traditional army/production-based missions would make the struggle even more entertaining.

Anyway, 4/5. Good job

I happened to play this campaign over 1 year ago. Then I thought it to be quite promising.
Does anybody know, if there is still work on that campaign going on?

I'm waiting for the last map.... I really love the scenario but the last part do not make sense at all. Maybe Queen Azshara's daughter was actually corrupted? And for the brother, he was not so surprisingly interesting. He just came out of no where. Well, at least it was cool and I wish the last map is out.

Story so far...

Well, working on the campaign is stopped for now.

I started my university studies (no time) and also I lost nearly completed file n.7;-/
But the story: this story is still in progress (only in my mind for the time beeing)

but I decided that perhaps It would be enough just to write the storyline in here. For anyone who is interrested in...if such a one exist?;-)

LEGEND OF AZSHARA 1.0
1.Meeting The Priestess:
Felhala is ordered by her farther Cenarius to meet the priestess Tyrande so they can find out what is happening at the east-coast of Kalimdor.

2.Furbolg's Loyality:
they come to Furbolgs forest where Dravian (furbolg champion) joins they case.
Felahala is being helped by a ghost with a promise of releasing Tyrande of duty when seeing a greenskin creature.

3.First Contact:
they come to coast, see an orc - Tyrande leaves the group. They defeat the orcs and release Sala-endra (sister of Felhala).

4.Opening Secrets(interlude):
Felhala is beeing informed by Salaendra that they are both daughters of Azshara and that htey have to find thier long lost brothers and sister. They set on a journey to visit the Temple of Mitharanth, where an ancient eye of enormous power is kept.

5.Satyr's Knight:
before reaching the Temple they are beeing attacked by a group of satyrs. The find out that one of them-Azandrohas is their brother. They catch him and perfore a cleansing ritual on him. He is free and remember his sisters.

6.Into the Temple(interlude):
Together they enter the temple, but they are to regroup. Felhala enters city of Mitharanth and the others are about to enter the inner part of the Temple.

7.Forgotten City of Mitharanth:
As Felhala step through the transporting circle..she enters a forest. There she rescues a goblin, who shows her the route to the city and informs her that the city is ruled by Maiev now although normall and old Archdruid is in charge (he has dissapeared few weeks ago_with no sign of his departure only calling Maiev to replace him during the absent)...
(THIS MAP WAS SUPPOSED TO WORK LIKE A CLASSIC ADVENTURE MODE - you go to city, speak with its inhabitants, solve their problem and step by step finding out why the druid is beeing absent).

I remember this one from a long time ago. It's not obvious why it isn't memorable.

chap1:

-since when do keepers of the grove teleport?
-strange a nelf has to destroy a nelven gate
-units selected during cinematic mode
-optimal quest? Anyways, it's a main quest, since you can't get past the bridge without the key
-silly, only one person has the pass to get on the other side of the bridge...
-killing the murloc leader makes the key appear somewhere south of his position; that doesn't look like he was having it on him

chap2:

-camera does not reset after the starting scene
-no words to or from Dravian? Wait, the egg was supposed to be destroyed in a cinematic scene not by the player... well it activated after getting out of there; also the scene might start two times
-what is this, StarCraft, morphing creatures in an egg sack?
-cameras don't reset properly
-this level is horrifyingly monotonous
-optional quests aren't optional
-he was poisoned but the shaman had time for fun games?

An interesting project that looks like it will never be finished. It's a pity that the author has surrendered in the final meters.
