Seems like a pretty fun game to me though it is a bit annoying how tornados and such will keep showing up when your trying to build something even if its a tent. This might be a bug I am not sure but still pretty fun.

Rofl, haha xD

well, actually it IS a bug, which i have found what the hell produces it.
Many thanks for telling me this!
-Edit-
Well, it should be fixed now, Uploaded.

Yeah, you are right, i think i will have to solve that by making more buildings, more units, more tecnology and upgrades. So it won't really end and you just create units and mounted archers or dragoons.

Okay good cause it was beginning to annoy me when a tornado would start up when I build a tent. But fixed now and ya I would recomand something like AI for a single player thing to it would be amusing.

Sounds History-related game. lol
As Colombia the Explorer. (dude he travelled from Spain or Portugal to South America)

haha, well, actually the map is the one that starts on mexico and ends on argentina/chile xD

I mean, you are free to go anywhere at any time in the game time.

Might "colombia" be columbus? In Argentinian history he is the one who found our natal aboriginals and killed em all and slaved and stole em and then founded colonies etc. He was spanish (from there we speak spanish).

Really nice map. I like it! But what are victory conditions? I destroyed every unit that was not mine and still I didn't win. Still, a very good idea! 4/5

I need ideas for the victory condition, if you have one, or a few, let me know them so I make them real!

EDIT: Well I've done with the help of InfinateAnswers a Total domination with or without allies victory condition already, I'll upload the new version about tomorrow.

umm,can you add atleast 2 / 3 goldmines maximum(for both settlers and tribes)? It won't be fun if you don't have gold to train ur units :/

Can I give you some ideas, please? I think with them the game will be more interesting. Here they are:

-Make some rivers on the continent; It will increase the tribe's boat usage and will act as border to be protected.
-Add at least 1 more type of unit for Tribes and Settlers. For example:
Some serbacane (weapon used by aborigens to shoot small darts with poison) user unit for Tribes, that deals little damage, but poisons the enemy and can stealth while standing still.
One more religious unit for the Settlers, maybe Inquisitor or Missioneror some sort of religious knight (Crusader) that have both religious abilities and good fighting skills.
OR
Another type of gunpowder using unit.
-Add more diplomatic options like:
Trade Agreement (your income and the income of the player you made agreement with to be shared and split 50/50 to each player)
Religious Agreement (you will become neutral if you were enemy with the player you choose and a religious building to be spawned near the Player's castle or temple - Church or Totem, and some Monks and Shamans (depending on the type of spawned building), owned by the other player. For example, I make religious agreement with Guy1. He accept my agreement. Me, as Settler, get a Totem in my base with few shamans around it. He, as Aborigen, get a Church in his base with few monks around it. When I was playing it, i agreed (as settler) to ally one tribe ONLY if the Tribe agree a church to be build in their base. Yes, I know this means nothing, but it was kinda roleplaying and cool )

Anyway, the game is great, I give 4/5.

There is no maximum goldmines, actually there is only a minimum range required. The range is 1024. You can't build one goldmine too close to another one (It is meant to push you to expand your empire).
BTW thanks for telling me this, I'll add it to the description of the goldmines.

I like all of your ideas, I'll use them in V1.37 and of course, credits for ideas!
I mostly like the rivers idea.

Three more things:

1. Add an option to exchange lumber to gold and gold to lumber in the building that makes upgrades (was some sort of market for Settlers).

2. When playing once, a player used all his starting wood BEFORE building a Storage, so remove the lumber requirement of Storage or make small lumber income.

3. Make the terrain on the starting locations of Settlers unbuildable (some rocks, vines or such), because people can easily build 10 houses there and upgrade them, which is kinda cheat, because houses are supposed to be build on the continent, not in the sea, right?

Okay, I've done everything but a few things, I'll have to think about it, or some other I will do them in a later version.

v1.38
Trade Agreement

To think
storage problem (because that's a logical sense deficit problem, it's their fault)
terrain on settlers spawn (because it would't be so cheaty, because tribes can)

The non mentioned points have been already done.
Many thanks for your feedback Comrade.Rat.

Just...great map!
By the way,i though it was supposed to be 3 versions of your map - For South America, Middle and North? Personally I liked more South America, more space and such... Example for what I mean:
The New World - South America 1.37 (reached stable version, you leave it and go making another one)
The New World - Middle America 1.00
The New World - North America 1.00
and so on....
EDIT: Tested it, and:
1. The Loading screen is from the older version (South America)
2. For a unit that is supposed to be used at night, Night Hunters should have better sight range.
3. The Inquisitor unit that you made is more like a Paladin from World of Warcraft...
By Inquisitor i meant some nasty, cruel guy, 'The dark side of Christ religion'. Because they're badass.
4. The animation of the tribe houses...there is a crane....which is kinda disturbing...
5. Why Tribe's houses are build slower than the settler's houses?

For the Maps, when I reach the stable version, I'll make the 3 maps and upload them all. But for now, I also like opinions for the maps, maybe in another version I'll add North America, but not because it will remain like that, instead because I'm still making the 3 America maps. Thanks for the suggestion!

1 Thanks for telling me this, haven't noted it xD
2 Nice idea, I'll do it
3 Actually I tryied to make it like a cruel guy, that's the reason of the model, check it here [model]
4 I know that, I unlike it too, but I can't model, and the animation comes together with the model
5 That's because you only need 3 upgrades to get to 16 food, instead settlers require of 7 upgrades to get 16 food.

I tried to make one, but I failed, I might implement one if someone would like to make one or either I figure out how to make them sometime.

Rispetto has granted you the glory of a review:

Terrain: 3/5
Units: 4/5
Triggers: 0/5
Icons: 5/5
Music: 4/5
Rating: 4/5
Comment: I absolutely love the models and skins you chose for the units, they fit in nicely. The icons are nice, they are unique and none that I can see have a green screen (meaning proper use of DSBTNs). Not too many triggers used as far as I could tell, and the heroes didn't have any abilities, but none the less a good map. Love the morrowind music, though you kinda stole the idea from LoaC. Never got a chance to properly test it out online, but it looks like a great success!

I can't change the actual rating I've given for the map, seeing as how I tested an earlier version, but I stick with my new 4/5!

Thanks for your review! It's really appreciated. (BTW, I never heard of LoaC, but I'll check that game, seems pretty nice)
I mostly focussed on the graphics and beuty of the game :p

Problem is, Inquisitors really DON'T look like that. Inquisitors wear dark robes with a hood, they chase enemies of the Church, burn witches, torment prisoners...that stuff. The dirty job. Something like this:
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/monk-157280/?prev=search%3DMonk%26d%3Dlist%26r%3D20 (but darker) or normal undead worker.
I see, I just thought Inquisitors in WoW were paladin-like units, but whatever, you are right. Then I'll just change the name to Crusader.
Thanks once again for your highly useful and appreciated feedback, Comrade.Rat!

It's not really the problem, it's just I don't know what to add with triggers, I added a few things, such as victory condition, random panthers spawns at land, the incomes, the natural disasters, and some more things. But the real problem is that I can't find what else to add, I mean I don't want something unreal, it must be something that follows the reality.

Also, I've fixed and changed all already said. If anyone have any other idea before I upload 1.38 speak now! :p

Thanks for the support guys.

Maybe some....influence system? If your colony or tribe can't sustain control over his servants and citizens, then they should rise against the chieftain/settler leader.
Second, I LOVE STATISTICS! If you could add them, that would be great! Like... Largest Army, Largest Population, Economy, Largest Fleet, Religion Spread and a message when somebody builds Castle/Temple!

You mean at the end of the game? Something that shows up those stadistics?

I think you should change the swordsman to something else , such as a spearman or a halberdier , they were commonly used during the age of gunpowder...

Once again i'd like to bring up the topics about gold mines and incomes , i really think the gold interval and the amount of money i get is too low..and i think many people would get bored of this because they have no more money , esp. when i play this with the public..
