Jaina

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Blood Elf Jaina in something like Mage Tier 5 set from WoW (anyway I was inspired by this thing), the staff's concept also comes from WoW http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28782#.
Give credits if you use it.

Changes:
1)Decreased amplitiude of hand movement in "Walk"
2)Fixed bug with left shoulder in "Death"
3)Got rid of unnecessary materials both in portrait and core model
4)Some cosmetic changes (like ears' texture to Ranger's one and unshaded ears in portrait)

Keywords:
tier5, mage, jaina, blood elf, sorceress

DonDustin: It's fine now, but there are still 2 points that need some small changes:
1. the unwrap of the arms could be better and they look a bit off in the walk animation
2. the ears should better use the sylvanus texture to match with the jaina skin tone.

and here is a personal suggestion:
I think it would look quite cool if the portrait would have some green eye glow aswell.

DonDustin: I took another look at your model and noticed that the staff looks pretty much like the one Gottfrei made. And that's not only concept wise, but also mesh wise.

So, I reworked the staff: crystals are made of MagicLamp from wa3.mpq with texture changed into PowerGenerator (I had already had crystal on her belt wich used material with this texture), runes use other texture. Also when I was cutting the lamp idea to make something like hand protector came (with cool runes of course), so here it is. The staff really looks very similar to the old one, but that's because of the common concept - you can try to match them in model editor - and you won't succeed =) Then, "Stand Victory" animation reworked (now she shakes the staff only with one hand), moreover particle emitter added to her hand, while particles on "Spell" use flare.blp texture. And one more thing, her eyes are green now - in the end, she is blood elf.

looks really epic. will test this tomorrow. ^^

EDIT: its a very good job (i already repped you ^^), though imo she is too short, like she should have feet under the robe. at least it seems so, compared to the proportions of other bodyparts.
also im not very fond of that staff, but its a matter of taste. its well made, i just have different sense of beauty :)

the walk animation looks a bit weird. and imo in the stand animation she moves her staff holding arm (right arm) around weirdly and this constant motion draws the attention to the unwrap, which does look a bit off in that exact spot (the shadow is at the side not under). i think this is a problem of animating not unwrap.

overall: very good ^^

Well at first I was going to complain about her waist.
But when you compare the waist size to the Village Female you realise there is no need for complaints.
Inhuman waist size aside, I do wonder the following:
Is the staff and gem supposed to change colour depending on teamcolour?
I personally would like it if they stayed red all the time.
Still I guess as long as you don't play teal, green and dark green your all fine.

I havn't checked how the model looks ingame yet.
But I can assume just by looking at it in Magos that a staff that size pokes down into the ground a lot.
I don't mind it but I belive someone will and someone will mention it.

There are a lot of good things about this model.
The biggest for me is that it takes upp less space than General Frank's Bloodelf Mage (36 kilobytes less), It looks good and I like the way you used teamcolour.
If I would change anything it would be spell animation. The colour green always makes me think of druids and such.
Perhaps something that connects to fire instead? Something red perhaps?
