HFR Presents: Inselgarde - City of Fountains




Another melee map made out of boredom, this is all.

So, let's go quickly to the description, shall we?

Long time ago, Inselgarde was a thriving merchant city, full of riches, from the humblest gold coin to the mightiest ancient treasure. To celebrate the success of the city, the mayor ordered the building of several fountains across the place and that's how the city got it's famous nickname: The City of Fountains.

But shadow soon arrived on the land, and the entire population disappeared without notice or warning in a mysterious fog, described by the only survivor as "foggy".

For years, Inselgarde stood deserted, but, during a shipwreck, a group of bandits and other creatures arrived into the place and made it their new home.

*Now that's just silly, if you're gonna do that, then fill every side so that you can't even see the terrain below it 3
*You really like fountains don't you? Remove it. 4
*I don't like how the goblin laboratories are so close to the goldmines, move them a bit farther
*The gate texture doesn't really match the terrain tiles as you can see5, so do this 6
*Use the castle bridge, that just looks silly
*Remove the normal gates, but not the city entrance ones, so early-game is faster
*Oh and the goblin shops are waaaaaaaaay too far away, cut the path to them in half, like literally

For now 3/5, if you do the above, 4/5, possibly 5/5.

The terraining is great, but there are some problems. Item drops are very random - some green creeps are droping lv5 items. Also I don't understand the pathing blockers which make the shipyards totally useless.
