After killing Banshee The Controller we thought our mind controlled friends were free. We welcomed them, feasted with them. After the nightfall, they slaughtered many of us. We couldn't handle them so we escaped to a new location. Now we know there is no salvation for our brothers except death. But what we don't know are they still mind controlled because there is someone or is the mind control permanent...

As soon as we built the new kingdom we discussed the mind control. We had to protect our minds, therefore, we gathered our warlocks, priests, shamans, necromancers and so many more to create a building. A building now we name Arcane Fortress that keeps our mind to ourselves. It is not perfect but it is what we have. We have built buildings so our people may survive this chaotic event.

To put it simply: I didn't liked the map. It's not the fact that stats are too overboard (which is more of a personal taste, I prefer low stat units) or the fact that most heros have 1 or two useless spells (such as priests wich has normal heal and healing wave, being the second leagues more powerfull, or archangel's passive, or bloodknight bladestorm).
My main issue with the map is the lack of info. The first time I played it I didn't understood that you HAD to destroy the undead base. The second time, I got to destroy the main building and defeat the dreadlord, but not destroy the whole base. Both times, I lost.
Overall It's very hard to last hit and gain resources, therefore it's hard to play, even in easy difficulty.
I also felt like prices were too high, but that has probably to do with the fact that I almost got no resources.

Since the map was already approved this review will not change the map state, but just give a score. 3/5

Well, technically they are not the same. One is "Shrine" icon and the other is "Mask of Death" icon^^. But point taken.

Heal and Healing wave is useless for the healer? I don't understand. I don't think Archangel's passive is useless. It is strong against big dudes.

I thought these sentences gave enough info for the Mission. Guess I was wrong. Will add a few sentences that should clear it up.
It is very hard to play it single I must say but you should've got gold because of the global bounty.

I want clear things up in case someone got it wrong. I am satisfied with deepstrasz's review but I wanted to have more criticism so I could improve the map even more thus contacting Paillan for his moderation. Thank you both for your time. I appreciate it. ^^

I mean it doesn't make much sense for a hero to have two healing spells, one being much stronger than the other.
And overall because of high creep health, spell damage is pretty much useless, any offensive spells are effectively a way to reduce your dps.

Somehow i found place of ring from secret quest, but i can't pickup it. I can select it with frame, but can't find spot, where i can RMB it.

You should be able to pick it up by pressing the red model of it. It is hard to pick it up but not impossible. If you still can't write "-cam 500" so the item will get bigger and be easier to be picked up.

somehow - no red model there in my variant. Just a shade, no matter how close my cam as. Looks like it fall under textures?

I don't like the fact that there are so many Heroes with identical spells. I'm not a big fan of using so many models and even custom healtbar. Spell descriptions go from barely acceptable to awful.
I like the map concept and the style, there are a lot of nice things all over, but it could have been so much better imho.

Please give examples of the identical spells and the descriptions that are barely acceptable to awful.
If it could've been so much better; can you please give suggestions towards that goal?

First of all, this is just my opinion and nothing could be further from "bestwaytodoamapever".

There are too many summoning abilities, most of them as ultimates. Summon Dreadlors, summon wolves, summon skeleton etc...

"As the souls go, they are moving The Tomb King" is an example, but in general the grammar is poor.
I'm not a native english speaker, and I make a lot of mistakes too, but you should be more careful if you want to publish a map.

I don't know if this was intendeed but you can "-repick" in every moment of the game, doesn't matter if your hero is dead, or the PvP arena is on etc.
As I said I like the work in general, but I'd like to see more complex Heroes with their own mechanics.

So you are saying that the summoning abilities are identical because they summon?
There are 12 total summoning spells (5 ultimate,6 non-ultimate) and the total of spells are 132. Doesn't seem too much. Although, half of them being an ultimate may be not so fine. (Summon skeleton is locust swarm which is not really a summoning spell due to players not being able to control them)

That description is poorly written, agreed. Because I've Copy-Pasted the heroes from 8 Heroes which I've made when I was younger, some of the descriptions lack. I try to fix them whenever I come across. Thanks.

Repick can be indeed used whenever a player wants to. If using it in some situations causes bugs, please let me know for I haven't seen any.
I rework the heroes from time to time to create more diverse styles.

Quick question: What do we do with the cheese item that drops from the flying sheep?

if you gather all of the three cheeses it will combine into ultimate cheese which is gives you permanent agi str int with cooldown ofcourse (Basically free unlimited tome) if you happen to catch it early or mid game your heroes can highly benefit it from it

Oh ok, it would have been nice if the tip in game said that there were actually 3 in total, thanks for the fast answer.

Btw just tried to solo the map, and my god the last boss utterly destroyed all my efforts every time i got to the end game :grin:, he is so overpowered:mwahaha:
Like i don't mind the op spells, but i think his regen on top of that is a bit too much in my opinion, and another thing i noticed is the fact that he isn't affected by the modes of the game (easy,normal,hard,etc.), his stats always stay the same, is that intended? because that boss doesn't seem like a normal "easy" mode end game boss to be honest :gg:


Another think that i found annoying was the fact that i was always on a timer the whole game, because of that its almost impossible to do the other side quests on the map + the extra stress as well, i suggest either removing the second timer or increasing both timers by 10 minutes.

turtle is stronk
his attributes don't scale but his health and attack damage does. Nerfing his regen and armor is a good idea.

There wasn't an end game timer but then I decided to add it because people think it's over or some sort, idk? Also, the timer that starts after you destroy the undead base use to be much longer, it was shortened for the same reason. Thinking now, I might revert them.
