HaradrimRiderSwordVersion

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Here's another mounted Haradrim for Lord of the Rings maps/campaigns. This time i made the majority of pattern anew. This rider uses a scimitar, has partly different clothes and a darker skin color than the other Haradrims for adding more variation to them. Also the head's shape is rather roundish than long and i tried to make the nose somewhat different for making this one look more like a moor/numidian. The last feature of this model is the black horse, as the other version (with the spear) had a brown one.
Additionally, you might use the model in crusader maps as a saracenian.

Feel free to use them in any imaginable way, including editing, if desired. No need to ask me for permission. Have fun with them!

Fester, that's quite good-looking! :)
thx :ogre_haosis:

is it just me, or that torso is looking a bit strange? o_O and the arms
in what way "strange"? Too little shaped? What's wrong with the hands?

In fact it is. I think you could give him more shape tho.
Are those dwarf hands? You could make them stiffer. Anyway nice work.
At which part exactly? Chests?
Nop, the hands are human (peasant). Do you mean the hands or the arms?
Ty :ogre_haosis:

Yeea, the torso looks like one from a scare crow or something.
rly? :eekani: Oh G, i guess the chest must be fixed. :vw_sad:

The attack animation needs work. Also, I have a couple questions, why is that guys face blue? Why did you choose such a shiny texture for the armor?
O.K. :vw_sad:
Blue?? :eekani: is this ingames the case? Portrait file or model's face?
Coz the Haradrims' armor is obviously made of bronze, and bronze is usually shiny. As the Haradrim weren't all too much shown in the movies, i used this as my concept, and these guys have somewhat shiny armors.

I like it ! thank you uncle for your lotr models_ are very usefull
ty :ogre_hurrhurr: Just be patient, more will follow with time.

Copper armor is not shiny at all actually. Bronze armor are light brownish in color. The only times when it is shiny is when it is brand new and has been intentionally polished.

For example; Here's a brand new, roman breastplate. http://www.raisonsbrassband.com/images/copper-armor1.JPG It's slightly shiny, but not much. Given a few years of splashing enemies blood on it, getting dirt on it ect. dulls the shinyness and what is left, even if cleaned, now has more of a brownish hue.

After years of use, it'll look something more like this

I meant the hands, otherwise it's good.
Oh, alright. I'll see if i make them stiffer coz the bigger they become, the more is a chance of clipping through the arm clothes later. :vw_sad:

Fail! I was actually meaning brass, not bronze. I just confused them coz the bronze bar icon in World of Warcraft is golden-yellow. You're right, bronze is brownish-reddish, so this is a brass armor.
This aside, what about that blue-face issue? Is it the model or the portrait? Is it ingames or in Magos?

@ one of my previous posts i posted a link to "my" concept. Haradrim riders weren't shown in the LOTR movies so i can't rly confirm it myself eitherly, but @ the linked website they're shown with such things, so i decided to follow that pattern. hehe, thx :ogre_hurrhurr:
