Gorodin Faceguard

The favored type of helmet used by the dwarf elite guards guarding the sacred Gorodin Vault.

Due to the geometry of the model the filesize it quite steep.
I might do a major overhaul later on to reduce the size.

Well, hellooo! It is great!
The 'holes' are a bit low tho, but I guess it is not visible in game anyways.
EDIT: Never mind, saw it in your album.

Can we expect gauntlets and boots, too ?

Thank you :)

It didn't even cross my mind that I could make gauntlets and boots as well.
I need a break from this set of armor for now, and look at some different textures.
But the gauntlets and boots will come :)

Sure, of course :) I am glad you took the time for them!

It would be very nice to have a complete set ( for the villager).

Like the others, it looks great, but the file size is pretty big for a model of this sort. Still, very good overall and the pieces match well. I believe this is my favorite piece so far.

4/5.

Thank you :)

I allowed myself to add some extra geometry on this model to make the runes stand out more.
Unfortunately when it comes to War3 models the geometry is so friggin important because the model's size must be kept at an absolute minimum.
Normally geometry is a lot less important (non mobile) so mostly texture size and application is in consideration. Luckily War3 has so many textures so that becomes an almost non-existent problem.

While you're at it, you might as well make some shoulders, those are easy and fun to do.

I was trying to make a dwarf so I was using the villager dwarf model
If you are using an imported model that is probably the cause of the problem. I would imagine the attachment points of your unit model get's disabled during the attack animation.
As I said earlier. The attachments has been tested on in-game models without any problems.

Try attaching the armor/helm/weapon to a native War3 model and see if it works. If it does it's the unit model that has an issue.
