Hello there.
I'm going to be around the hive again, and so thought of contributing something usefull.
This terrainart texture is named Good Time Blocky (sorry, couldn't think of a good name).
It is supposed to fit well with any 'city world, as well as with modern\futuristic enviroments.
Includes 18 variations.

Developement steps:
1. Texture materials & pipeline setup (~30 minutes)
2. Rendering (~10 minutes)
3. Editing of texture#1 to form 14 side pieces. (via Paint.net, ~20 minutes)
4. Creation of overlay to get it tilable (~5 minutes)
5. Manual processing of each of 17 pieces (open, combine with overlay, smooth edges, save, close, - 15 minutes)
6. Actually combining everything into one image (~5 minutes)
7. Uploading everything and writing this description (~30 minutes)

Overlay (makes the rendered parts tilable with eachother): http://vadim647.at.ua/src/img/091027gtb/temp.png

Comments are welcome.
In my opinion, this should be approved because there is a LOT of futuristic resources and no suitable terrainart to use with them. Also, overall, the terrainart resource section is pretty empty.

@Everyone: thanks!
@Revolve: additional thanks for mini-reviewing :)
Its still a challenge to get rid of repetivness of textures that are following the rules of fixed tile layout system.
I've done things that found possible - shading, color, and texture are different for every brick in texture (excluding those 5 that I have used to make it tilable)
Overall, I look forward seeing it in your (your, reader) maps :)

I'd like to see more variation within the tiles to merit it using a 512x256 skin, right now it looks as if it would work better being 256x256. Nice use of the alpha channels with this, I like the boarders of this skin. Just simply make it a 2 tile variant skin from were it is now, or really use those extra 16 tiles ;)
