This is my first models. I had extractet it from warcraft, and edit it in 3ds max 7.
I think it could be usefull for rpg maps.

I had created a new skin for the models so it look likes gold

Try using the gold coin skin from the item objects, it looks pretty fine with me that skin

I think ive got enough experience to skin it....leme try to skin it and while i skin it u make a gold mine....a big rock with pieces of gold on it....+ill modify it a little to actually look like gold....nice try though

Well i think its a quite good model for your first one but why does the coins have darker and lighter stripes on them? why dont you make the coins shine like real gold?
