Garrosh Hellscream

Garrosh Hellscream was a former Warchief of the Horde chosen by Thrall to replace him in the wake of the Cataclysm, until he was succeeded by Vol'jin after the Siege of Orgrimmar.

Model based on Grommash Hellscream.
Icons made from Wei Wang art

UPDATE :
  • There was a texture issue on the shoulder pad. It is now fixed.
  • Several requests were made for a green version. So I added it

The skull part of the shoulderpad shows up all white, both in editor and ingame. Tried it on a clean map, still same result.

Looks like the same issue that my Bonechewer model encoutered. So I apllied the same solution. Try it and tell me if it's ok please.

Works now. Great model.

Can I ask why you add the same main textures (main_diffuse) in the model and in the portrait folder as well for all your models?

One of the quirks of Hive uploads you're required to upload all the relevant skins for each model.

Honestly, this is great. I'd love to see a custom campaign taking place after Warcraft 3 with this guy, and maybe others. Though I suppose he'd need a TBC era look too, depending on timeline.

EDIT: Only a minor issue, but the axe clips with his shoulder in one idle animation where he rests it on his shoulder.

Great job Bagysta. Another great contribution, but I had the impression that the beard removed seems to have kept the facial part, in the jaw, very dark. It looks like a badly shaved beard ..
A basic texture edit will correct that detail.

Not at all, this is the jawtattoo that garrosh has. He's had it since his cataclysm wow model, it was depicted in "The Shattering" novel. You can check that fact here : Garrosh Hellscream

Ah yes... it's true. Because in the WoW models that i use to manipulate, they don't seem so evident.
I had said more because in the "Green" version, the darkening was too strong, but that's just my impression.
