Thanks for the head up im new to this, but i have been a fan of wc3 modding for a very long time im having serious trouble with the team glow stuff i cant seem to get it, im using wc3 model editor but i dont know what do properly, if any one knows how to make team glow pls tell as its hindering my models alot

PS:... i saw that their isnt any frostwolf grunt model on hive so i thought i might help out incase someone is working on a orcish campaign, as i was blown away by how awesome "lord of the clans" campaign and big shout out for them for making such an awesome map.

thanks all

Team glow is just alpha'ed out parts of the skin. So you need a texturing tool that can see alpha layers and use texture types with them (tga), ect. Gimp is free tool and used by many here.

You can see which parts of a model that will be team colored, and which parts that just become transparent ingame, in Magos war3model editor by going to "Materials" and see if there is a texture called "Replaceable Texture" behind it (above it on the list), if it does, it will be team colored. You can see what material is used for what part of the model by holding down "ctrl" and clicking on the part of the model you want to check.

Hope that made sense.

Photoshop is also quite nice and also free yaaar

There is many ways you can improve on this. Changing the color and texture of the woolly bits on the side of the helm, bracers, and greaves playing around with his teeth (maybe make them bigger and sharper), expanding his armor so that it covers more of his torso, adding tattoos on his skin with wolf-symbolism, altering his boring white eyes etc.
