FrostfireAura

An aura for fire/frost magic caster, emits fire and frost at the same time.

If this is approved I will make other elements. Maybe a fire and a frost one separate.

Please credit me in your 'Credits' quest if you use this, thank you.

Update: Renamed the internal name to 'Elemental Aura' (I think), reduced the emit rate of the fire and frost, changed the aura texture and added a little red and blue sparkle, also changed the gravity of the frost so it falls on the ground. I hope this is better.

Update: Renamed to 'Frostfire Aura'. Modified the sparkle a little by raising it and move it more directions. I think it looks more like magic now than just someone on fire, lol.

Update: Modified the aura itself by using different textures and I removed the sparkle.

Update: Moved the fire into a ring. The new fire ring moves with the aura's pulse.

Update: Reduced frost particles and animated them with the pulse. Added flare flashes.

Update: Changed the frost particles to be animated and reduced them. Made the fire and frost model spaced. Changed the outer ring into a red rune.
- Thank you HappyTauren!

Update: Moved the fire from the ring to the rings of the runes. Removed the frost particles.

Misha: alright, the model performs very nice ingame, and i'm approving it. buut.. as any attachment/aura, it could use having a death animation where everything just disappears right away.

cheers.

It's cool you decided to update the model 6 whole years later, but honestly, it's not an aura, but rather a mess of fire and frost particles.

Have you even tested it ingame? The particles are not model space'd and it leaves a trail of messy sit behind when the hero using this aura walks.

Moreover, you should work on the color scheme more. Right not it's not visually appealing. Making frost and fire particles look good together is a hard task, indeed.

Also, using Shockwave1.blp as a key print of your aura is a bad idea. I don't know, try runes or something.

Well I was thinking about removing the frost particles and moving the fire into the 3 protruding rings instead of a fire ring. I'll give that a shot.

Update: One last time. I think it's visually pleasing without it being too much.
