Forsaken Sanctuary Terrain

I never posted any resource on Hive, so I talked to a friend (Heaven_Editor) and came to the conclusion that I will no longer use this map (since I don't do Warcraft III maps anymore), so I should make it public as a basis for those who want to be inspired and make a map for it.

Features
- Icy Theme
- Three Lanes
- Neutral Spots
- Place For Hero Selection (Top-Right)
- Several Paths In Jungle
- Symmetrical And Mirrored (Both Sides)
- Northrend Tileset
- Two Custom Units (Simulate Fountain of Each Team)

Have fun! :infl_thumbs_up:

Since it is a template, a better description is hardly needed.
However, since the terrain is almost the only important part here, you should add even more screenshots. Your screenshots show the genral terrain, which is good. There are no details visible though. I would suggest having at least 5 new close-up snaps of the terrain, so people can see the details of what they are downloading.

Oh, the description was fine as it was!
It is better now though. :)

Since some constants were changed, I suggest you include that in the description too though. People who use it might be unprepared for it.

Screenshots are looking a lot better now.

I might edit this post later today to include my review.

Should I revert the constants changes? Because there's really no reason for it to be honest.

I'll do this now and update soon'ish.

EDIT: Ok, reverted every constant and texts.

Definitely approve-able material, though I personally would not call it anything outstanding.
As it says on the tin, this is an AOS template; its symmetrical.
I really do like maps that have unusual/customized boundary shapes; ie. the map does not fill the default playable space.

If I could sum up everything I dislike about this map it would be that it is monotonous is appearance.
> The ground is very lacking in height variation. If you wanted to keep the lanes flat for game balance reasons, I can understand; however some hills within the forested areas, or just an overall height difference between the base areas and the rest of the map would go a long way to make the map look less uniform.
> There are no distinct regions besides the riverbanks, everything is repeating mass of the same tress, with the same tile under them; surrounded by the same snow.

The reason why I did it without cliffs is because I didn't want to have fogs where I can't control it, but I agreed about about height difference in the jungle itself.

The map is 100% symmetrical, every tileset, every tree, every doodad is mirrored to the other side, that's why.

I appreciate the opinions.

Hi!
I don't know what is AOS maps but I can tell my review for your template map:
  1. Terrain is cluttered, I mean that it looks circular. Terrain has no height ==>I think you should add height to it.
  2. Those icy walls around the map looks wierd and I think you should remove them or reduce them.
  3. You just used Icy Walls and Crystals and Trees in your map ==> I think you should heed the variety of doodads.
  4. I liked the mode of placing trees
  5. The ground is very lacking in height variation. If you wanted to keep the lanes flat for game balance reasons, I can understand; however some hills within the forested areas, or just an overall height difference between the base areas and the rest of the map would go a long way to make the map look less uniform.
    I'm agree with this.
I rate this map 3/5. I hope you update it in the best way!

I don't know what is AOS maps
Dota, Heroes of The Storm, League of Legends, Strife, Heroes of Newerth, and others, all of them are AoS, now know as Moba (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena).

I rate this map 3/5. I hope you update it in the best way!
Thank you :) but I have no plan to update it, since my NewGen didn't open in my Windows 10 (and I tried a lot of solutions, none worked).
