Fill-Me-Up Treasure Chest

The main function of this model is the fact that it contains 5 differently placed attachment points inside of it, with which you can attach whatever your heart desires. Treasure models, units, random junk, it all works. This is supposed to be mainly useful for RPG's, or anything where you complete a quest or find a chest in a dungeon.

This is also fully animated to include:

* Stand
* Stand Alternate
* Morph (Opens)
* Morph Alternate (Closes)
* Death
* Death Alternate
* Birth

Attachment points as follows:

* Back left
* Back right
* Origin
* Front left
* Front Right
* Keyhole

The keyhole attachment rotates, so that when a key model is attached, the key will turn and unlock the chest in the opening animation, or lock it in the closing animation.

8K ??? Wow... as a Doodad this model is truly outstanding: the attachment points make it VERY desirable.

As a DESTRUCTIBLE however....ummm..... I know this guy that's a mod here who's a really good modeler and animator. He MIGHT be able to show you how to add a portarait or view camera to make this useful as a destructible (or unit) :p

Just what i wanted! Its a great model and as GoingDownTown said: Its better than the one we get.

No offense or any such; it would be cool if u made a model that sparkled as it open like the ones in Fable. Anyways GJ.

The beauty of this is, you can attach the sparkle effect to one of the attachment points when it begins the open animation and voila, exactly what you want.

This is an excellent model and all but im having problems attaching things to it... i'm making an RPG map and when i saw this i thought it would be a good idea for e to use it. i set up a trigger using

Actions - unit aquires an item
Conditions - trigger unit equal to Chest
Actions
If,Then,Else multiple conditions
If
item class or item being manipulated equal to miscellaneous

Then Special effect create a special effect attached to the back left of chest

What am i doing wrong for it not to show up

I know for a fact that the origin attachment works perfectly, but I'd have to do a bit of testing to check that the others aren't flawed.

Perfect chest model for RPGs. It is so good because of its animations. The attachment Points are pretty usefull too. 10/10

Great model,

I think it would be cooler if as use for a destructible the death animation were to be Stand alternate (Open) because I have my hero hit the chest then it dies (Which I was hoping would make it open) It didnt, but oh well. Good model.
