Feral Worgen & Derivatives

First and foremost: Yes i used Wow animations again, because i like them.
And Second: this Picture and this Thread are the reasons why this model exists.

The Following models are units only. If you want to have a Hero Worgen unit, then please PM me and i will see what i can do.

[+] I included a Picture, where the Black Alpha Worgen stands between a Footman and Paladin. The Worgens Model-Scale is 1.00 .

[+] Don't view it with the Hive Viewer it will mess up the Animations.
I can asure you that they function properly ingame.

Black Feral Worgen (Alpha):
- Deleted the Attack 2 animation and replaced it with the Attack 3 animation.
- Deleted the Attack Slam 4 animation and renamed the Attack Slam 3 to Attack Slam
- Deleted the Stand Hit animation
- Deleted the Stand Hit Defend animation
- Deleted the Walk Fast animation and renamed Walk Fast 2 to Walk Fast

He is not meant to be a Fel corrupted being nor does he practice fel magic. "Omega" is just his rank in his pack. His Eye Color is supposed to be showing that.

This is very cool. Mesh and texturing are great. Animations fit perfectly. Though I would advise to work out animations a bit (maybe delete or rename causal walk animation and leave it only with walk fast in one variation if they have different start and end frames, supply it with a talking portrait?)

Firstly Thank you and secondly i intentionally didn't add a Talking Portrait for Gameplay reasons. Normally you would use the Spirit Wolf soundset for this model and he only growls and doesn't talk, but i did include a "Talk gesture" animation hidden in the Stand first animation for Campaign purposes.

I will also add other Variations with different Eye colors and Fur Colors.

Constructive Criticism because I guess I have to:
- Filesize is pretty big, especially if you intend to add more variations. Try and optimize it if you can.
- ...actually, that's about it. The filesize should be trimmed and that's about it.

Looking forward to variations. Don't worgen talk like humans though? When in human form. I haven't played WoW after Cata so don't know exactly.

No. I didn't want to mess them up, but if you want to clean them up then go ahead. And that goes to the Others too (*cough* @JesusHipster *cough* @PROXY *cough*)

The Filesize is pretty big, because the animations are uncleaned Wow animations. I can't do anything for that without messing them up.

Do try to shake off some kb's if you are ever able to, as much as blizzard allowed for a 128 mb map size; I don't think that resources should really keep pushing the file size or else we will find ourselves at the very same predicament as when we had a 8mb limit...

10/10 Absolutely Great Animations! I had been searching for such a mod for a long time. Glad it came anyway. Love that sleep animation too, if only there are more mods with sleep animations like this.
Wish the channel animation was like the Ghoul's cannibalism animation, but its all good anyways.

You just need to fix it's size, cause nobody wants a mod as heavy like a map. :p

Yeah, I'd suggest trimming some of the animations a bit and replace the "Walk" animation with their on-all-fours running animation, as actual walking just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the game. Also I don't know if it's the 3D model preview or what, but it looks as though the animations all play a bit too slow.

it kinda look thin for a worgen. make its CHEST a little bulky and add some MANE along the back neck.

And you can improve the shape of the thighs, it looks like a piece of wood. But nice effort man! I dont like worgens btw :ag:
 
Normally I'm strongly against using WoW anims for a Warcraft III model, but I believe it works quite well here! Looks great, except I might agree that it could stand to be bulked up in the chest just a little bit. And while it might be a pain in the ass to wrap, I think a model with the Druid of the Claw bear form texture could make for an interesting effect! For like an older worgen, one who might be a druid or even shaman of the feral pack.
