Fel Lord

Greetings, Today I share with you this "new" model, everything is made from scratch and I think it resembles enough to the original Fel Lord model. I made this model some time ago, but I couldn't find good animations 'till I remembered a great model from here (Demon Knight) So here we are, Fel Lord finished. Enjoy it!

So can I assume based off the description that you use animation transfer program?

I've been trying to transfer some thrust attack animations from a footman spearman onto the Many Animations Villager Man.
Can you recommend a program to me for animations transfers?

It's brutal as hell. Awesome work! When I first saw the model itself I was amazed, but on the other hand thought that animations won't fit the quality of model itself. But as soon as I saw animations themselves, that was the moment when I got truly blown away. Once again, awesome work and keep it up - this is simply excellent!

Hi, I didn't transferred the animations, I think this technique is called "mesh transport" I designed the model separated, then I transplanted the geosets to the Demon Knight's skeleton.

Well it's just exporting the geosets from one model using Magos, then with the same software, import them into another one (with new material for the textures). Later I use MLDVIS to attach the geosets to their respective bones.

Dang... That last step, isn't that really time-consuming? Or is there a faster way to do it?

Not Really. At least not that i know of some other way.
But i do the same. (Sometimes, if the model matches the bone-structure of another)
I am sure some do the same too.

But there is the possibility that there could be another faster and simpler way to do this.

While there are a lot of excellent models on the Hive, this one sticks out with some of the best. The model is great but just as equally important are the animations, which too are very well executed. The only thing I can pick on is the fact his back spikes actually clip through his shoulder plate consistently. In fact, I've yet to see it not clip. Though this problem may never be solved, I will still give this a 5/5. To be more specific, a 4.5/5 if such a choice were available.
