Farstrider Huntress

Well, is a female version of the Farstrider hunter, the body is based on the demoness mesh.

Counts with two sets of animations, with the bandit, and rifleman for the alternate animations. Portrait is included in the model.

And, i known someone is going to point the size of the Crossbow, GlaiveThrower, Gun... Something? It's the same size than the normal rifle, and i like the look. Think about a siege weapon made man portable ;_;

Added hair in the face.
Eye glow only appears in Portrait_Talk
Hands with new texture.

Reduced weapon size -Tears-
Worked weapon position in A Stand, A Walk, A Spell, for clipping problems.
Deleted the dust effect in A Attack.

Reworked heigh of the body in death, decay flesh, in normal and alternate mode to not dig during the fall, the skeleton now appear during the decay flesh.

Fixed alternate animations being named incorrectly. Fix done by @Maxwell

MiniMage: The death and decay look a little awkward, the rest is fine. For example, in death she falls through the ground. In the decay, she just kinda sits there and doesn't sink.

Yeah, about the missile, the model uses a smaller version of the ingame glaive thrower, i'm going to attach in this post.

I don't known what is happening with the Hive model view. The gutz appears in every animation but in my PC it works in the assignate time.

I feel like the weapon could be a bit smaller, but the model is pretty cool.

Wow what an amazing model. The amount of animation variation is awesome and the use of the bandit skin is clever. That pouch is just a lovely addition! You should make the crossbow smaller because right now it's huge.

Also: You should do a male version as an alternate and add it as a portrait or something maybe? You should give it a try!

daayum that crossbow sure looks back-breaking :xxd:

but anyway; her face doesn't look that nice, kinda doesn't mesh well with the hood, maybe more hair in front, like on jaina's model, would help
her hands are strangely shaped and even more strangely wrapped.. her eyes feel too bright because of that glow, and you could do something to accent the feel that she has a bust, bandit's texture kinda blends that in a bit too much... last thing is the base of her neck. it is too sharp in contrast with other things

I love this. Damn, now that I think about it, I need to create a map, where the fucking Ballista chick is showing us how badass she can be. <3

dat hive viewer broke the crap out of it. so I downloaded and checked it out for my self.

cons: i'v personally never liked the glaive thrower, so the fact that its half her arsenal is discouraging to me.

in specifically attack Defend you can see her heels doing something strange, fix that, by either adding bones or re attaching some of that heels mesh.

in death she falls back and collapses onto her cross bow, but her back is right on the ground, perhaps either cause the cross bow to fly off somewhere else so it doesn't vanish into the ground instantly, or prop her up more so its under her back.

her sword seems too simple, perhaps you should add more polys onto the blade to make it more high def.

her shields alright but it seems a bit simple too.

her eye glows seem a bit too powerful, perhaps shrink the glow squares down so you can see her eyes better.

in ''Alternate Death'' her cross bow remains floating quite high in the air, instead of landing on the ground when she drops it.

I think people trying to use this model in the game will have problems because the animation names are incorrect, for example its not supposed to be ''Alternate Death'' its supposed to be ''Death Alternate'' the ''Alternate'' names come after the animation prefix, im not entirely sure why, but experiments on my own rpg murloc of over 150 animations showed me animation names such as ''Stand Swim Alternate'' work but others such as ''Stand Alternate Swim'' do not, fix that, by re naming the alternate animation sets animation names to better emulate other blizzard models that use alternates such as the Obsidian Destroyer and Night elf Demon Hunter, with Alternate coming after most if not all animation names.

Alternate Spell has a gap after her animation of un used empty frames that looks kinda bad, fix that by removing them.

pros: this hero is neat, I like how she can adapt at a moments notice from ranged to light melee to heavy melee combat -- that is cool. its rpg character-esk and I like that. though I do wish you had animated a literal ''Morph'' and ''Morph Alternate'' where she swaps her weapons, I think that would of been nice.

her hair and face are very pretty, high sex appeals important for good elf models and she achieves this.

I like her style in general, her arms don't clip a lot and her legs (with the exception I've mentioned) look relatively bug free, very good.

I like her melee attacks they are fast enough to be useful but slow enough to be seen.

over all I'd call it incomplete but on the right track 6/10 could be a 8.5-9 if worked on more, but as of now I don't consider it finished enough for my map (yet)

Great model, exactly what I need, though why did you choose a crossbow? It's not unheard of, but I believe bows are more typical Farstrider weapons. Either way, thanks for making this.
