Fallout Red Button Template

A red button template that I'm using for the interface of the upcoming Fallout mod (WIP), I made it myself from a scratch. Since I've just started learning the basics of 2D images, I'm not sure about the lighting/shadow positioning, if it's correct or not.
Feel free to use anywhere. I made it with this interface in mind. Combined, it looks OK.
I'm too lazy to draw text each time I use this button for another purpose, so I just add the fitting font on top of it.
Higher res screenshot included.

Looks nice. The border version should be here due to rules requirements. Overall i love the pasbtn version.

So this just goes behind the wording? or
It was designed in such a manner, that the icon could be used either as a standalone button (like "nuke 'em" button), or background for a button with short text (attached screenshot). The latter option depends on the map maker.
Once I've done all the buttons for my project, I could upload a pack (so far, I made 57). But what's the point, if it's just the same icon with slightly different text? I needed a generic button that would fit the steampunk UI art style (more or less), so I made one.

without border its looks better. Border add too much brightness and the icon becomes invisible. Make it brighter in case you want it get approved.
I made it brighter and slightly changed sharpness and blurriness (radial blur in some places). I prefer the passive border-less version as well. If needed, I could delete the bordered version, leaving just the passive one.
Also, the asymmetrical bottom-right corner brighter stain stands out on purpose. The button is supposed to look worn and partially damaged by frequent use (having stains in shape of a fingertip or smth).

Would you have any idea how to make it look used?
