Escape Builder 1.9b

Build your own Escape with a lot of Features:

I must say, this is like the best Escape Builder game I've EVER played.
It's very fun, especially easy for the builders. But the boundry thing is sort of annouying, for the areas, sometimes it's difficult to connect them. You should make gray able to edit any/all of them, but get a message if you do something wrong.

When you say -slidespeed #, 3 is not the limit, you can go to ANY number.
You should set the limits to be -3 to 3, that way when you slide backwards it's kinda fun.

this is the best escape builder but there is something very importent to do , enable save + load , when u load a game u get the message the the file is corrupted, i think it is because of costom terrain , anyway .. its long when sm1 leave u have to re-do all what u done , so there r 2 ways to fix this :
1 - enable save , load normally
2 - make a long code that save the map

I want a -save/-load function in the game (with code) since long time, but the code is just too very long.
It seems that I would have to write a good compress algorithm to make it shorter... but have no time for that ;)
Didnt know that the normal Save/Load of WC3 dont work, i will take a look on that in further versions.

To Sworddragon:
Yeah i know the connection problem, but if you are trained in that, it wont be a problem anymore.
I wont make a limit for the slidespeed, its kinda funny to use a speed over 3 sometimes :)

Yay a new version (wew!!! YA-HA!) and i'm getting crazy yaaaa!!!!!! Seriously... it's very good and I followed the versions of Escape Builder my hole life (no joke) and this is an awsome game!

Very impressive, how we could make a maze just by a game! Well i'm making a maze right ow in World Edit and it should have the same effects as if it was in your Escape Builder... God Job (not good job but God Job with CAPS).

Fatal error if builder buys tome of experience. I think it's cuz builder has no mana.
Gonna fix that and some other bugs in 1.9c.

I prefer the 1.8 Builders Features :/
But this one have more Escaper Features :D
But the I really prefer the 1.8...
There was never an 1.8 version of EB released...
But if you mean 1.6. Which feature of 1.6 are you missing in 1.9?

interflo, du könntest vllt mehr plätze für die builder machen oder so ^^
vllt so 12 oder 15 stück
und -load/-save einbaun
executer hat bugs =(
ah und bei der letzten versin haste son screenshot wie man random tanks mit so teleport target waypoints und teleporter macht aber manchmal landen die tanks zwischen den waypoints und gehn net weiter also würd ich irgendwie so machen das wenn man an den rand vom waypoint kommt, es auch noch funzt.^^

trotzdem geile map 5x daumen hoch!

The feature that i miss from 1.6 is the Black Hole..i really loved this one:xxd:

Also the "unit creator" spawns too slow the "escapes killers" even if it set to the fastest option it takes about 15 sec to spawn it..Personal it count it with clock 5 times..

Yeah I didn't care to reimplement it since nearly no builder was able to make good use of it and it also confused most of the escapers.

also missing the "DemoShadow" which is a pretty nice feature and the Fire Trap that manytimes made the escapers struggle passing throught the map.
Shadowing was also a feature which seemed to be rarely used. And for the Fire Trap, the first plan was to include a trap with much more features but hadn't the time for that.
At least, instead of Fire Trap you can also use an Executer with the "Texture: Change to Unwalkable" action.

Last but not least you should add the choosing option for the system like you had in 1.6...I mean Live system Continue system circle system or the currently system that 1.9b using that should add a variety of choises to the players.
Both other systems were nearly never be used by other builders I have seen, and I also never saw players who liked the Builder to pick the continue or circle system.

The fastest option spawns one killer every 2 seconds, that should be enought. It seems like you set it to the slowest value instead of the fastest. To 1.24b:
Since 1.9b (the newest version) still has the selection bug (and other bugs) it's no really use to release the 1.24 fixed version of 1.9b now, so I hacked 1.6 (because I don't have it unprotected anymore) to fix it for 1.24 at least.

are there any newer versions of this map that work for 1.24 besides 1.6?

I love your map interflo, but Warcraft3 tft & RoC are completely based on Bots now.... ;(...

Adding onto the fact your newest version are bugged due to blizzards new patch. 2.0 doesn't work for me anymore, it says "Game Not Found" with the error message when i try to host the game. (Yeah I can host, Port forwarding etc).

Is there another most updated version that you can hand the link to me that doesn't have the creeps set as 'clickables'. You know what I mean by clickables, right? O_O....The only working version for me is 1.6 Escape Builder.

P.S. I love your map <3.

That's probably not a bug, that happens with some optimized maps when they are not directly in the maps/download folder, do you have subfolders there?

It is directly in the download folder for my maps. I'm 90% sure that I can't access the map due to blizzards new patch. Unless you guys somehow are able to play the map...

You mean 1.26 well,if then,i guess it is another problem since i have that patch and i can freely play this map,who knows maybe it is the game,have you tried reinstalling it?

Btw,awesome,creative map with an awesome and unique idea about not only escaping,but building the escape path :goblin_good_job: NICE! 5/5 +rep
