FREQUENT ISSUES

Magos' Model Editor
If a.) the model/s present an error regarding a ribbon emitter upon opening, or b.) the models go blank in-game after editing them in Magos', use MdlxConv to convert the uncorrupted file to mdl, edit the model as you wish, and then convert back to mdx before importing.

In-Game
If models with omnilights light up the whole map after conversion, make sure you're using version 1.04 of MdlxConv.

Awesome work... when I saw the Reaper's Claws I was gonna ask you if it would be hard to remove 2 of the three slashing lines haha.. even better... super cool stuff!

Can you share an example of the object editor for this model? I don't use trigger.
Import this model into your map via Asset Manager, go to object editor, find ability: Carrion Swarm, find data field "Art - Special", input this model instead of "Abilities\Spells\Undead\CarrionSwarm\CarrionSwarmDamage.mdl", save & test. now carrion swarm produces this on units that get hit by it instead of the little black cloud they get normally.
