Electric Vortex V0.1

This spell is a GUI MUI i did, it's leakless and somehow lagless.

But since i'm learning vJASS recently i may make one with vJASS !


Spell Description -

The hero summons pure light within his hand, unleashing that electrical light to a targeted point, it stops time of all enemys units with it in 300 Aoe and vanishes them for 4/6/8 seconds to an unknown location, but the vanishing process takes 3 seconds and when the units returns they will be dealt 100/200/300 damage and confused thus missing on thus missing 50% on their attack for 6 seconds.

I sure hope you like the spell.

Nice spell I must say, tested this fastly in Editor and in wc3, looked cool, just one point: Why the hell it doesn'T do anything while circling? Non-computer controlled players would easily go out of the area, and that is totally negative to use this spell in any melee or hero arena / survival map. Also, it seems that it has to imba stats, I mean 300 mana, 300 dmg, for a normal level 3 Spell? What the hell...

Oh and you might want to make "vortexing" unit invulnerable since in addition to all the vortex does, there's supposedly a 6 stun...

Won't be reading such a huge script :p yet i'd rate ;)

off-topic:
Maybe sometime next week I'll finish mine... it has some bugs, and well bugs are the most annoying part of scripting... but you'll love it i'm sure :p

No we had a totally diffrent idea, about units flying in the air fading, then coming to ground ext... nothing related to lightning :p

300 mana for 300 damage and a VANISH ! for 6 seconds and more ... this is not an imba spell this is a good running attacking ext.. spell :D

Well this isn't Sky Rocket beleive me ! coz if it was really a challenge ..

I was going to cross the RED line .. srsly ... i am going to do ... spinning the units in the vortex while it spins ... and also making omg can't explain it ..

But for now it is simple and lovely .. btw w8ting for ur spell :D

another spell by Rmx! nice and way to go u made some really good spell this time. spell is really good and coding well... hmm maybe some parts could be a bit optimized, overall no leaks (as far as GUI goes) and fast enough. spell would seem to be MUI to xD

well as everyone said u selected ur way of coding so there is not to much point of looking at script now, since we already know how u code and its fine.
the only way ill read ur script good again is if u use hashtables :), btw yeah this is 1.24 compatible.

Rating:

Coding: 4.6/5 (maybe hashtables, improve few lines and maybe faster indexing...)

Original: 4.85/5 (i was impressed when i saw this, coz i wanted to make almost the same spell like this one... well almost not fully... i think the spell is really creative and ofc i now wont make my one xD)

Readability: 3.5/5 (quite fine, there are not any comments which explain what it does, but it has some comment line breaks which make it better and code itself can be figured out quite fast... therefor u get extra points even without comments)

Documentation: 1/5 (no documentation? well overall everyone might already know how to install spell, but still some documentation on how to install the spell would be nice.)

Editable: 3/5 (i can say this spell has some globals in main trigger to be editable, however some more would be nice, i am not sure did u mean that we go in ur main loop trigger coz i saw some constants, overall not sure but spells setup should be in main trigger and i never saw that damage variable being editable. still as i said u have some part editable, but adding more would not hurt :D)

Overall: ((4.6+4.85+3.5+1+3)/5) = 16.95/5 = {3.39/5}

This ofc is awesome spell, but needs a little more work... especially that documentation.
if i have learned one thing about u, than that would be that u are lazy writing comments and such a stuff :p

I ofc wont rate now 3 coz score will fall down and i dont want that, since spell is good but some minor things stand in the way!

Grand thank you to that Awesome review, i myself don't like writing comments :p

And thanks for not downrating it, still it's only v0.1, just reworking it in vJASS and
i'm sure i'll add those constants editables... just for you pleasure :p.
