Elder Shadow Dragon

Due to the requests of a bigger and mightier Shadow Dragon I have now made one. It has no legs cause it looked like crap. Animations are the same as the little one.
And I won't add legs sop don't ask me to.

I can see the effort put into this one and I like it, especially the teeth and the tail.

A few animations though, kinda lack 'oomph'. I would certainly like to see its head bobbing up and down during the walk animation, and also a deeper 'thrust forward' for the devour animation (this is your bigger version after all). But these minor points aren't going to shroud my overall liking for your dragon :)

Awesome Model! I agree with the others, I think you should make a more dragon like version as well.

I don't like legs on the Shadow Dragons. They look too wrong when I put them on. After all this is not an ordinary dragon. It's crippled just like the shade is and the head is bigger. Most of the reason to why I don't want to make the head smaller is because I want to keep the mighty split-you-in-half feeling of the yaw.
I tried to make horns that pointed backwards but they looked like some fucked up Manga-Wolverine haircut. I'll try and add a nasal horn later and see how it comes out, maybe make the wings bigger to make it more terrifying.
What I've really wanted to add is a kind of heart but I can't find a fitting texture.

I think the shadow dragon is more suitable for the sylvan renegade creep race instead of going to download it and add it to the campaign to fight against the scourge ice win

Well this<->living dragon is like Shade<->Acolyte. The Shade's proportions are a bit exagerated aswell compared to the Acolyte.

hm, in my opinion its still a little too big, looks like a giant worm (the spine) to me. but thats just my personal liking^^ its not that dont think this modell is very good^^

this model is so epic...it puts the hero model that i was planning to have summon it to shame. i was surprised, it looks much better than the screenshot, and i thought it would look good just from the screenshot. just a note, it looks like crap as a neutral colored unit, which is fine i suppose. it looks great with the color...most modelers will ignore coloring but you used it well. gj.
