Druidism - Mage Wars

-Druidism-
Mages are always prepared.

Map is on MMH(Make Me Host).

Warning: The following game is not beginner-friendly.

A PvP Arena game, so make sure you're not alone...

This is a game where players brawl in an arena as druids, trying to bring each other's HP to 0. But it might not be as easy a feat as one might think....

This game is a game about your preparation, strategy and skill.
Using a custom chant-and-cast system and a precast system, try to survive to until the end, a satisfying end brought forth by your brains....and a bit of brawn.

Author's Note

The objective is simple. Survive until the end.
But to do that, you need to prepare well.

Memorize all your spells! They use a combination of QWE to chant.
Cast them using R at your target.

Literally memorize your spells using the precast system!
First you chant the spells you want, then you press D to store them, maximum of 2 spells stored.
Use F to cast the spells you stored with D.
After storing 2 spells, the next spell you store will remove the 1st spell you stored.

Combo spells using the precast and cast system!
Want to engage? Memorize Global Blink and Force Lance!
Hate Global Blink engages? Cast Forest Guardian!
Want a lifeline? Memorize Global Blink!
Hate Global Blink escapes? Memorize Silence!
Hate Silence? Memorize Skyfury twice and snipe him from anywhere!
Endless possibilities, but can you make the wisest choice?

v131 - Uploaded
v132 - Changed Author's name from my other name to this name. Shrugs. Hive might need that.
v133 - Added some more help in F9.
v134 - Bugfix - added a new force to help the LAN players
v135 - Welp, forgot a debug message. Stop it.
v136 - Added a tutorial mode, and a small VFX that shows when you're chanting. And also updated the F9 info for spells.
No custom thingamajigs were used in the making of this map. If there were, it's made by yours truly. Currently.
Might not do anything with it besides bugfix if needed, so here's the unprotected version.

As usual, if you read my signature, I'm fine with anything you do with it.

Other than that, reason I'm not doing this is because of being busy with other stuffs, so hey, who knows if there would be surprise updates and stuffs or not.

But if you like this map and wanna take it even further, go ahead, but tell me about it so that I can also play it :)

Re review after update: 1. Derp mode seems pretty good to learn/pick up the game or just have fun overall. 2. While the "spell is charged" effect is quite small, it is somewhat visible, so I guess that was taken in consideration. 3. New F9 information...

Only three spells? is this a beta? it looks like one. If it is a beta, please, post in Map Development instead.

Screenshots could attract more players to download your work. Make the best of them.

A credits list is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated.

A changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

I don't know what to say....the fact that there's more than 3 spells or how did you arrive at that conclusion. There's like 17 spells.

As for credits, there's none because I've made everything by myself....well other than that would be the default stuffs already there, stuffs made by Blizzard.

The changelog is literally there staring at ya....

Some review after a long long sleep (I am awake, I am awake)
1. The map is actually quite fun. If you discover how to cast at all that is. It seem to me and my fellow friend tester hard to figure out you had to chant and then quickly cast (He didn't even managed to cast anything). I would recommend you to make the "spell available" more visible (for example, add a buff to the hero that says "A spell is charged or something) together with a colorfull effect. That should do the trick.

2. The spells themselves are actually quite nice, though you don't really know what effect they will have. You could tell this in the mentioned buff (although that would require to create quite a bunch of purely descriptive buffs.

3. There's no real way to know how many lives the players have (unless I didn't saw one, in which case, nevermind)

Overall very very good map and really fun, if you add the mentioned visibility I would see no reason not to approve.

1) Added a little effect on the head.
2) Updated the F9 info to show that, and also added a tutorial mode in the beginning for spell testing / derping.
3) Check the items.

As the moment I don't see any reason not to approve the map, so yeah, doing that then.
