There is still room for improving the icon, but it is in approvable state.

Make a pas for this would come in handy for an aura or something like that! only thing im seeing is the shading is messy in the middle of the circle, add darks towards it because right now there is alot of light colors. Lastly, the feathers seem bland, maybe add different type of colors towards those or one color for each.

There could be more feathers and they should be bigger. Lightsource doesn't seem defined, use less subtle highlights. When it comes to materials the metal part needs more contrast.
I've made the feathers bigger and zoomed out to make it look more like a pendant.
I know what you mean by contrast, but I don't think I can do better than that, unfortunately.

Edit:
I've tried my best.

I still think those feathers should cover more space. Look, the metal thing is simple decoration, not many details can be added to it so use feathers to make the interesting details there. Shading of metal thing is not good. If this is bronze material, seek for reference to see how light reflects on it. It doesn't have to be anything greatly realistic, but at least make the material more recognizable. For instance that ring around decoration is ok, try to make the inner things with same accuracy. Color is quite monotone at the moment but feathers rendering can fix that. Please try to focus on them, make them brighter and bigger, they really don't need this amount of shading.

I've altered the inner shading somewhat and tried to make the feathers look a bit brighter.
I understand what you mean and value your input very much, but I cannot do better than this.
I'd like the size of the feathers to stay as they are right now.
