Draenei Kerfuffle Seer

Done as model editing practice to see if I still got it.

I went with the OG Draenei because those old naked men must feel cold but nobody seems to give them any clothes, like, ever.

Partially inspired by the Reforged Seer's design, the portrait is, to put it kindly, "minimalistic". I had to rename the model's Stand 2 because it's kind of sort of completely broken.

Also made a version without the right hand glow that wields my good ol' Draenei Staff.

You're free to edit it as long as you give me credit for it.

EDIT: Fixed a small goof I made while optimizing the model a bunch, I won't say what it was but if you got a keen eye you might know by looking at the screenshot.

Good job but I wish it had 1 more spell animation (maybe for Channel animation or anything you'd like).
I'm not planning on working on it anymore but anybody who wants to make/transfer some of them (or fixes the Stand 2 animation insert wink here) can freely do so, then if they tell me about it and the new stuff is good enough I could even update the download here. :)

EDIT: Maybe you could rename "Attack - 1HVar2" into "Spell Channel", maybe it works fine for that. 🤔
"Attack - 1HVar1" could definitely be a good "Spell Throw" animation imo.

Me too man, me too.

Btw I just put the models through some optimizations using RMS so they have half the filesize and don't issue as many warnings through the sanity check, unfortunately I have no idea on how to fix the rest of the warnings myself.

A neat edit and cool variation, but there are still some minor flaws with the model at hand. Please fix the following issues:
  • Some major flaws and unused tracks ( Sanity Test ) Please get rid of those.
  • The skirt is not two-sided and you can see through the model's mesh during its death animation.

About this, I think I understand most of the warnings the Sanity Test issues, but I'm unsure about this one:

Number of sequence extents (12) does not match the number of sequences (14)

Does it mean I have to specify values for the start of every animation in geoset animations or something like that? I do these kinds of things by trial and error so I'm not exactly knowledgeable on what sequence extents are.

Bonus question: can I fix any of this stuff on tools that are not Magos' ? Magos's way of handling most things (ie. "Geoset 0AAE8310") makes it hard to read and find the stuff I need to work on most of the time, especially when there's a lot of geosets/materials/geoset animations.

I suggest deleting the mask. It is estimated that it will be better.
While you may have a point all the accessorizing on the model is not just for show, it is also meant to cover those parts of the original texture that don't fit, like the blue hood that covers the original's head, which just doesn't fit with all the additions.
Other than that, I already deleted a bunch of the detail that's covered by those parts so to have a maskless model like that one would have to import its head back again into the model or else the model would be missing the lower jaw. :)

Exellent idea! Not sure about skulls though. Maybe change it to bird's skulls or totems/feathers (remember Zangar tribes worshipping birds?) and a crystal buckle for central part.
I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sold on the skulls either, at one point I thought they didn't fit... then I realized WoW Akama is full of those.
Anyway I don't feel like doing any extensive model editing for a while but if anybody wants to work on changing those details they can freely do so
(and please inform me/send me the resulting model 'cause I'd probably be using that)

Adding the hero glow should take a couple of minutes at most, the dissipate animation should be easy to add too if somebody were to just move Akama's dissipate animation on the model.

Anyway, sorry, as I said before I am not in the mood to work on this model anymore or on model editing in general so please consider making a thread for this request in the Requests Forum, I assure you it's the fastest way to get what you want out of this model, just write a clear request there, specifying which one of the two models should be modified.
