Draenei Adherent

This is an asset that I have been meaning to upload for awhile. It's a couple years old now, but I thought I would put it up for download. The idea of this model was to fulfill the role of a basic infantry unit in a draenei or eredar techtree. Included are two eredar and one draenei variations.

A very fine pack of models. Work in-game and perform well. Great job.
Don't care for Draenei, but this is great. Very simple, very straightforward, perfect for the "Footman"-tier Draenei unit.

How much of this is custom (custom mesh certainly, but custom textures & custom animations)?

I did this quite awhile back so I don't remember exactly. At some point I was using the satyr as a starting point. I think the skeleton is from the satyr and most of the animations probably. The geometry is at least heavily modified. The textures are all painted from nothing, although I may have borrowed from other assets for things like the mouth. That's off the top of my head though. I could be entirely wrong about all of that.

That's one great looking Eredar, almost pity that it was released after I already made a similar one for HoS myself (from a satyr as well) ^^
I really like the custom anims, while satyr base is recognizeable, this model's stand anims really make it different from stock one. The skins are simple but good, love that eredar version has less cloth on his torso, similar to WoW male eredar almost always baring their chests ^^
However, I might suggest doing something about attack anims, as they seem to be unedited satyr's and as his weapon is a sickle with a different blade angle, they don't work well with a straight sword - it's like he's hitting the target with the blade's side, which doesn't look right. Perhaps you could try adapting some other unit's attack anims, like ogre's, or make the weapon different.
4/5 only for that, otherwise it's a nearly flawless model.
