Quality of this texture is good enough.
Though my personal opinion is that the armor could be done better.

Keep in mind I will not be changing this model, for it is the FINAL submission for the competition.

I only had three days to work on this while the others had almost a month so I was pretty pressed for time.

Err. Not really.

The "golden" details look way to yellow to pass as gold.

I was using the Doomguard as a reference. And it was pretty gold, but I suppose it could have been changed.

The gold parts look way too... bland. Try making those areas a bit more metallic, right now it just doesn't look right.

The gold, does look a bit bland, and not really much like gold, but yellow plate or something. I think there coulda been more done, but very nice skin for three days. Gl in the compo sir.

very nice skin, but is there an mdx file without having to put a skin on the default unit?

If you want to use two different skin textures for the same model in one map, you can either use alternative animations (Hive Tutorial) or import the same model again (easier to do but takes more file space).

The texture path for the imported model needs to be modified. You can use Mdx Pather (Hive Tool) to change it.
