Digger!

6 Little Digger Bugs have 15 minutes to not get eaten by 2 Hungry Hungry Spiders! Can they survive the voracious arachnids and all the other dangers of the common back garden?

Dig between three levels of ground: The garden, middle soil and deep earth. Watch out for random events and work together to survive / kill all bugs!

A GreyArchon original.

Map Type: Hide and Seek Mini-game
Players: 8 (6 bugs, 2 spiders)
Map Duration: 15 minutes
Special feature: Three levels of ground to dig up/down through. Think three-dimensional!
Special feature 2: Periodic random event that makes specific levels of ground more dangerous: Kids with magnifying glasses, hungry flocks of crows, rain floods, and more!
Gameplay: Bugs hide in the ground, spiders need to kill them. Bugs can pile up dirt piles to slow down the spiders and infect spiders with parasites. Spiders can spin webs to catch bugs in, and lay eggs to spawn spiderlings.

Update 21 November: Minor bugfix with Web, Spiders now take 1 second longer to dig up / down, compared to Digger Bugs.
Second Update: Small bug fix with middle sight modifier after the Flood event.

Oh please, please, please... GreyArchon, Mention us that the map is Protected.

Why is this important? It's for playing, not for fooling around in in the editor.

Besides, last time I visited this site for a map upload, map protection was registered and mentioned automatically by the uploading system, so I didn't even think twice of it. I guess that aint the case anymore. Added it now though, though the map submission rules do not say that this is required.

Awwww! I've just played this map a few minutes ago and it was so entertaining! It has that kind of childish tone where "cat and mouse" have been replaced by "digger and spider" but it's still so much fun XD! Unique game-play and platforms (surface - middle - deep ground) that certainly deserve some attention! I recommend it to anyone that has a good half an hour to blow away by running around or just plain ol' being silly with some mates.
The "Victory Impale" had the cutest-childish buff-description : "Take this and that and some of these!" - adorable! - Made the kid within me smile ^^

This. This is what I was aiming for. Just plain old innocent fun value. I'm glad I hit the mark.

Terrain is GREAT. A 5/5 for terrain. I can see this is a solely multiplayer map, If anyone would like to host this on Azeroth U.S. East please invite me because this map looks challenging and fun, but I couldn't find out about the game through single player. It reminds me only the slightest bit of Sim Ants. But without the massive soldier armies that turnn on the 1 spider :xxd: .

Ideas/Terrain/Fun: 10/5 --> :thumbs_up::xxd::thumbs_up::xxd::thumbs_up:

This game is great and whenever I host it people really enjoy it.
However it gets really boring when you die and you easily die!
Hell, even the observers can die (mine did atleast).

Definatly a map worth playing. It is a awesome map, but it could be a lot better if you added more items/abilities/ect.
