Diablo III Wizard

This is a combined effort between myself and Cavman who helped me with the head :) Model is based on the Night Elf Watcher model. Enjoy!

First let me say that I am ok with CloudWolf uploading this. Second, model works in game nicely and the skin is awsome. Third, might wanna change the internal name to someting else. If you got Magos it's easy, just go Edit->Model Properties and change it from Watcher to somthing like D3Wizard. That'll change the name of the .zip file that is downloaded. Also though, I noticed that the portrait was missing. Though not required as long as a model has a camera, it might be nice to have it. And fourthly: Aaaawww... D: My name is spelled wrong. X'O
Changes made, model approved. Go ahead and continue updating it.

Well when cloudwolf release something, im saying in my head: "well another godlike release by a godlike user!"

Nice one cloudwolf you and cavman did a great job on the head! the skin is perfect(will you do what i suggested?) and now its better than the one archian made for his project cause yours look more like the diablo 3 wizard actually :)

5/5 , if i could give 10/5 i would :)

This is a really good model, great work, Cavman and CloudWolf.
It greatly resembles the reference picture, although the face looks too old, and the Diablo Wizard looks greatly younger then your model's face. Otherwise, it's a great model!

alrite. i can only say this. THIS IS FUCKING SHIT! YEAH! YOU KNOW IT IS! DAMN THIS MODEL SUCKS! FUCK THIS MODEL IT IS THE WORST MODEL IN THE WORLD! FUCK IT!

Naah! I lied. Anyways that'll keep away spammers for now that they see someone made a short spam. Anyways, for my true ratings. The quality is excellent. So i vote 7/5. damn, you have to "SPAM" the site with more models. all the models u upload are over 5/5. I vote directors cut. who else agrees?

I agree. It's just a great model, deserving of a spot in the Diablo III Warcraft conversion.

The eyebrows are way to light for that hair color, I think they are to way light in general. The eyes are also much lighter than they should be, the Diablo III Wizard has dark brown eyes rather than dull gray eyes. The shading on the face could use some work to, right now it looks meh.

From the screenshots it looks like there are minimal differences between this model and the watcher, Mostly that both shoulders are the same size, and the hair has been completely changed. If you are going to change the hair you should do it so it matches the wizard, at least as far as the bangs are concerned. Right now the transition between the hair and forehead are really awkward, you need to either have her hair coming out above her forehead as if it were pulled back or have her forehead covered with bangs in the transition. Considering you have the hair-flaps hanging off of the side of her head I'd go with covering the transition with bangs.

The chest wrap could be better, the details there are very stretched and the wrapping is sudden and abrupt were her boobs are. The shoulders are incredibly blurry, which is a big minus because they show up in the portrait animation (at least for the watcher).

-Edit-

Is her skin supposed to be showing at the top of her boots? Because right now it is really shiny, and looks metallic. If it is supposed to be skin tone it down a bit.

Why is the skin path for a custom model overriding a default texture? You should set the skin path to something like DiabloIIIWizard.blp rather than replacing the sentry's skin :/

Also, with the team color possibilities of this skin team color should have been incorporated somewhere, add team color! :D

Anyways, Re-do the face + fix the shoulder/chest wrap. This model/skin combo looks like it has a lot of potential, but right now its lacking :/
Hope this helps on how you can make it better :D

Really amazing. The only complaint I have is that the face is a bit too old. In the Diablo lore, she is very young, also made obvious by her look in your concept image. However, I dislike the "her facial expression is wrong" comments. Those should be marked as spam and deleted. She doesnt have to have a smile on her face all the time, every second of every friggen day. Do you? If you answered yes, just take a look at my sig right down here. Have a nice day :) Btw, 4.5/5, rounded up to 5. +rep!

-Add hero glow
-Add dissipate animation
-Add more spell anims
-remove the decay bone and decay flesh anims
-make her both gloves of equal size
-remove the mesh of the weapon in order to reduce her filesize
-you could try to use the Optimizer of the MdlVis, that reduces the filesize and remove all the unused thing of the model. That helps a lot in maps like your that you want to keep the filesize low.

Anyway, a really good skin. :D

This is an awesome model, the only thing I may want to change is the eyes, she doesn't have blue ones, but black ones.
