Devilsaur Pack

A project and model I have thought about creating for a very long time, inspired by
the mighty Devilsaur from World of Warcraft.

Could be used as a large creep unit, Troll unit, hostile or objective in a campaign etc.
Example: Using the Red version as a Level 10 Devilsaur creep alongside Thunder Lizards, Salamanders, Trolls, Turtles or even Spiders or Murlocs.
I believe you'll find good use for it and if you do, please send me a message
and tell me, I would be overjoyed.

Model includes animations for Devour and War Stomp.
Works best with Sunken Ruins, Barrens, Ashenvale, Felwood, Lordareon Summer and Lordaeron Fall terrain.
Model works best if scaled up to 2.00.

The model, texture and animations are all custom made by me using several different programs and
hours of patience.
Please do not edit the model.

Icon will be added.

Update:
Small tweaks on the body and neck. Head updated to look more like a Devilsaur and T.rex.
Teeth are now fixed.

By the way the portrait glow seems to appear at attack animation, I hope you fix that.

Indeed, that's why I made these to begin with, a bit surprised there aren't more WoW inspired models like these ones around. Planning on creating a few more of these when I got the spare time.
Updated just now, should work just fine In-game without the background popping up.

it looks good but the teeth kinda bother me ... also that little triangle below the first upper tooth that just stays there... idk .. could use some love here and there but overall looking decent and useful :D

Wanted to keep it somewhat Warcraft-y with planes as teeth etc, this is just the first version, the walk animation will be updated for certain, got a few to many frames going on to get it to work properly atm, will re-do it completely when I have the time :)

Outstanding model and really fitting with the rest of the Warcraft models.

I stand behind a Walk Fast animation being added tho. I think it could be quite useful.

Well atleast now i know why something doesnt feel right. Judging by some pictures and concept arts... He is missing a thumb:

Actually, they're supposed to only have 2 fingers as their original model is from World of Warcraft, the artwork from the TCG and Hearthstone is wrong.

that black triangle is the part of the texture background which was wrapped to the teeth mesh, i imagine

nice finally another dino! its been a while to see dino models here thanks! love it!
the mouth textures are kinda plain, just pinky flesh. and yes walk fast and attack animation but at the same height of its head and a Roar animation would be good.

Update:

Fixed the neck width, arms are slimmer, teeth position are changed and the triangle is removed.
Model update all over pretty much.
Fast walk and a frontal attack animation being worked on also.

Could i ask for permission to use this model as a base for a mechanical and skeletal version?

I could create a skeletal version if you'd like me to.
I'd rather do it myself if that's ok :)

Question now is: How would you create the skeletal version? Like how i create mine?

Question 2: So you're saying that i have the permission to create a Mechanical version?

I would create it from scratch, could either use bones textures already present in Warcraft or create new ones based on what works best, we'll see.

This model is one of my very first and since I created the mesh, animations and textures from scratch I'm afraid I'd rather
create a new model based on requests then let others do it.
I'm afraid I have no plan on making a mechanical version/skin but I am working on a new model based on the tamed Zandalari Devilsaurs.
Also working on new animations.
