Gameplay
The possbile base locations aren't that well balanced. I would think that places with lower defence standars should offer more gold rewards or something, but it did not.

As you stated in a comment: the kodo AI is not very well done. This needs to be improved before this map gets approved.

I tried the game out about five times. I think you are supposed to play more than one player though, as the kodos became pretty overwhelming. At most times I had three of them hitting mywalls and ruining my towers. I got pretty hard, but I gotta say that it was pretty fun aswell.

Although, I have played this game before, and it was very similiar in gameplay. The only new thing I could see was that you could choose a character that had one unique ability. As stated in the Map Submission Rules:
"Uniqueness:
The map must bring something new to the table. It can't just be another clone of X popular map. It must be radically different from existing maps."
Right now, I cannot see as many differences that is needed in order to create a "version" of a game. It might just be to simple. I want you to send me a message with all the changes you've made from the original map.

Your description is informative enough. I especially like the first snippet of text that very efficiently explains the gameplay. You should however put your screenshots in hidden tags, as now they cover up a big part of the screen. Point number four of of the descrition is incomplete. It cuts off in the middle of a sentace. It is good that you put the changelog in hidden tags, but you could group all of them together aswell under one hidden tag.

The loading screen message was not very useful. If I wanted to know what the latest changes are i would read them here. If you want them in-game you could put them in the quest dialog. I think the loading screen is a better place to put a shot instruction on how to play the game. You could also add a custom loading screen instead of a campign screen.

The terrain is not appealing. Extremely simple blizzard cliffing with trees. This is the classic kodotag environment however, but some decoration wouldn't hurt.

A quite basic Kodo Tag map. I need to see what new ideas this brings to the table before approving it, as for right now I see barely no new things at all.

Why do every of the units have haste ability that they don't have mana and can't move? ;)

Also, Screenshots would be great to see how the map looks like in-game or WE screenshot.

EDITED
To be honest, I don't know about Kodo Tag but I checked up a w3 video about a original Kodo Tag map.
It turns out that kodos wouldn't attack-move their way to the runner. Only because in the original map, they attack not attack-move into the runner.
With this problem, the kodo would destroy anything they sees like wall rather than ignoring them and only attack the runner. (They will attack the structure that blocking their way that leads to the runner in one way)
~Recorrected
I suggest that kodos would only attack the runner, not attack-move.

I'll go and check on the haste ability its something that the previous map creater did. And i'll add the screenshots once i'll get back. Consider adding a picture as well if im not lazy and have the idea to design one. Thanks!

About the kodo tag difficulty, i have tried this version many times with my friends and its completely playable, we won many times before on easy and normal mode only. Normal mode is already pretty hard for us. You have to build spacing in the boxes where only your runner can move between them but not the kodo. I think it requires a minimum of 3 players though, 2 is incredibly hard already except maybe for easy mode.

You won with your friend many times really? I tried this by myself by mazing the map but suddenly a kodo attack the wall rather than move their way through the maze to reach the runner. I don't know if I done this correctly but they did attack the wall. Also, the spacing between the two wall unit is 1x1 so the runner can move through. About the kodo, it's 2x2 between the two unit wall.

Its a little too hard so i changed the difficulty and updated the description! Hope u like it! And yeah u can use the spacing to your advantage to repair walls and go through them! Thanks for trying the map :D

Well, I guess that's how your Kodo Tags map works then. :crazz: I thought the way how it works is the same as the original Kodo Tags works. (That the only difference is that the kodos in the original only aim for the runner while your map, kodo destroys everything it sees.)

Thanks! The AI isnt very satisfactory though, sometimes they just target a single player and most of the kodos will jus attack that one player. And sometimes the kodo dont attack the runner even though the runner is jus beside the kodo :/

This game is edited from Kodo Tag Reloaded
https://www.epicwar.com/maps/1486/

Unique Points
1) AI is way different from other Kodo Tags
- The AI in normal kodo tag ONLY aims the runner unless being blocked, mine however targets buildings and runners they dont go through mazes like retards
(However, some people dont like this new "cleverer AI")
They are pretty used to the standard ones where they dont have to base and jus run around and let the towers attack them till the kodos are dead, this however the kodos will attack anything.

The AI also isnt that retarded like the standard ones, the dont get blocked by cliffs and just stand there.
http://www.thehelper.net/threads/hel...tag-ai.163067/
Like this.

2) Unique Items
Items are designed to be balanced not like Kodo Tag Extreme.
The Items aint that special but they are not found in other kodo tags.

3)New Buildings: Regeneration Tower, Quill Tower, Magic Bush Wall: These towers enchances game play, the regeneration wall is essential as it heals all buildings in an area.

4)Unique Kodos:
Ranged Kodos

Blink Kodo (Normal Mode): A kodo in the game that can blink into your base and kill you.

Aura Kodo: Kodo that give surrounding kodos movespeed attackspeed armor and damage.

SpellCaster Kodo (Normal Mode): Kodo tat has regeneration and curse ability.

Genome Enhanced Kodo has splash attack that destroys many buildings in 1 attack standard kodo dont have that ability in their big kodos

5) Balanced and Constant difficulty gameplays
If u played other kodo tags u realised that the others are too easy for several reasons.
First is the AI

second is that the kodos dont get stronger late game they just spawn more of them.
Mine however gets stronger and will even get stronger faster if players have farmed up a lot of gold.

Limited gold in goldmines and limited peasants make sure that players have a hard time farming gold unlike standard kodo tags where they just aim the runner.

6) More Runners
From the original map, there are new runners
Okay, maybe thats not really unique as Kodo tag Extreme has them as well.

The MAIN DIFFERENCE
AI because of the AI, runners are forced to base and not maze unlike standard kodo tags.

As for the terrain ive always been bad with terrains nevertheless i'll try and do what i can to enhance the gameplay. Thanks for playing i really appreicate your review and feedback

Good. I'll get back to you soon. :)

EDIT:
Fair enough!
You seemed to have put thought into improving the game beyond it earlier versions.
I can now see that it is more unique than I first thought.
This map will not be a target for rejection anymore.

Start working on the other things I pointed out, and we could get this approved soon enough. :)

Ive beautified the terrain (at least i hope it's beautified and not horrified)
Gold mines are changed a little? Im not sure if its completely balanced? But i will make sure to change them if i notice they are not. Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated :D

Just tested, here's my review

One of the best Tag games I've seen so far

Everything is well placed
- Multiplayer
- Difficulties
- Bases
- Building abilities and the possibility to see a defensive buildings range.

Overall, I'll rate this map 4/5, I'll update my rating to 5/5 once you've added a more decent terrain.

Good job.

Thanks for the review and im glad u enjoyed the map, i'll continuing working on the terrain but its a field im really not used to so it might take awhile

Off the reviews Episode 1: Kodo Tag - 2016 Ver 4.4a

Read This
For first i wanted to say i not make classically review style if say this basic then that means i just say what i think about maps. Let's begin.

Off the reviews Episode 1: Kodo Tag - 2016 Ver 4.4a
What is Kodo Tag?
"Kodo Tag is a tag game where you have to run away from kodos and build a base. Survive for up to 30 minutes to win the game. Rescue other runners that are caught by kodos to ensure the survival of your kind. Full with funny elements like voice act are edited and become in over 900000000 times faster and it's just funny from side or when you as Warlock (Or others). Your character run away from 3 kodos or more that's what make this map to me funny and favourite.

For a final.
Yes i like this map ,but it's created for lovers of that genre of gameplay in Warcraft 3 however only for thous who likes this genre of game i could recommend this map.

Gameplay:

The base or the location is not that balance. I can barely see a one way in a place. It almost full of 2 to 4 ways in a place. Maybe, adding more place with one way will be great.

I really like the one you made about the choosing a runner. Every runner has diffirent abilties, but the structures that they build are same. The strutures in the building list of the runner is complete for this kind map. Every structures has upgrades that can increase survival and usefulness. All the towers has fair stats, such as damage, range and hit points. Tower has many types, to have more survival. For example, Ice Tower, it can slow kodos. So, the kodos will take more time to destroy the wall, or something preventing it to enter your base. While the wall also has fair stats like hit points and armor, but it also have diffirent types, like the Quill Wall, it reflects the damage back at the kodos. Making a separate-type peasant was kinda weird, but nice, to limit the training of peasants. Everytime you train a peasant it increase the requirment of gold. When peasants (Runners also) harvests gold, it has a balance of harvested gold. You can also increase the harvested gold, by upgrading it, so that, you can build more structures faster. Peasants also repair and build structures, but few only. Unlike the runner, it has all kind of structures. Training units is a useful thing to do, in order to increase more survival.

Kodos are the arch enemy of the Runners. Nothing much to say about the kodos, but it has fair stats, that makes the map challenging and fun. However, kodos also have a lot of types. Like for instance, the Razor Kodo, it has a range attack instead of melee. Also, kodos has a slow attack cooldown, it means, you can still ran and live.

AI gets overwhelm on a single target. It happens on me all the time. The kodos just chase me, while my allies are safe. Also, even I'm beside the kodos, they didn't even attack me.

Terrain

The terrain is so empty. It just full of blizzard cliffs and trees. It makes me feel, there's no life in the map. Just add some doodads, like flowers, shrubs, birds and so on. If you put tiles perfectly, it can improve the looks of the map.

Verdict

For now, I will rate it 3/5, and voting for awaiting update.

I suggest you improve the description further by putting the images in hidden tags, as they cover up a big part of the description as they are now.
