DBZ Tribute Ultra V10b10

DESCRIPTION
Play in the world of Dragon Ball Z/GT as 1 of 12 of the characters in the anime series. It works similar to a hero arena map where you train against creeps but also has an RPG element to it where you pass quests, level up and complete extra sagas based on the DBZ/GT series. It can go up to a 6v6 battle between good and evil, but also acts as a free for all somewhat where you don't have to comply with your teammates to win - just become the strongest.

Everyone competes in this to obtain the highest power level from training against creeps and completing quests. The power levels are displayed in the board along with the game mode and saga you are on. If your character is killed you are sent to the afterlife, a place where you can train without the hassles of your enemies attacking you, however it's harder to gain power in the afterlife, which is it's handicap. If everyone is sent to the afterlife on your team, you lose.

There are also side quests you can do, such as register for tournaments, collect the Dragon Balls to make a wish or train in places such as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

The map has well over 70 custom models, about 50 custom skins, custom sounds and custom UI.

This map is a beta so there's probably still a few bugs and balance changes to be done. I also need to fix up some of the grammar and add some new features. Also the terrain isn't 100% finished yet. But everything is finished enough for it to be playable.

- If you continue to use a patrol circle after extensive training, your training partner will tell you they are getting tired
- After a while the patrol circles return to their full potential, this should prevent over extensive afterlife training. You may also use another training circle while that one is recovering
- Good Dabura now on the Grand Kai's planet
- If you find Dabura some pretty flowers he resets the patrol circles
- If you kill Annin she resets the patrol circles
- Flowers/Annin respawn after 120 seconds
- Permanent fusion from winning tourny bug fixed
- Fixed up Kyodaika's description

- Abilities now do 60% from 70% damage to heroes
- Piccolo ending final lookout tourn using multi fixed
- Sagas come out more quickly now
- Fixed up saga hero stats so they are more even

- Factories manufacture Droids/Copies
- Coolers scan/sense now detects all Ore Deposits on the map, his Scan for resources ability has consequently been removed
- Ore Deposits must be taken over by touching them with a unit, then up to 3 Droids can harvest from it (Similar to how undead harvest gold except no building required)
- One Ore Deposit starts next to your base, 2 other ones are placed randomly on the map, they keep respawning somewhere new once they are depleted, max 3 mines at any one time. Ore mines also give no vision.
- You get 1 free Geti Droid at the start
- Cooler now has Geti Repair, similar to Buu's Heal except it takes 25% of your life from your energy, and 75% of your life from your resources
- Cooler when revived by the Geti Star now gives Cooler 50% life and minimal energy, meaning if you want to fully restore yourself you have to use Geti Repair (This is to prevent players from just killing themselves over using Repair)
- Metal Cooler has Instant Transmission, except it only teleports to structures and can teleport up to 24 of his units, it won't teleport harvesting Geti Droids
- Cooler gets resources per kill depending on the level of the creep/hero

- XP is manually triggered so summons do not steal a Heroe's XP
- More bonuses for killing any enemy hero now
- Some new icons
- Gohan can go ss/ss2 without seeing Guru for Potential (Solves the noobs stuck in afterlife issue)
- Dragon Radar available now 1 minute after balls are restored
- Radar can only sense nearby balls, same distance as sense
- Radar has 60 second cooldown
- Radar no longer becomes broken after the first set of balls
- Wish bugs fixed
- Game mode bugs fixed
- Super 13 stat multiplier nerfed
- Most summon moves made stronger
- Separated Bebi's help skills and body skills

- After defeat screen, game no longer goes to scoreboard, you can freely move around and see what happened.

- Your stat multiplier and fusion timer have been moved top right, the fusion timer now also tells you when you can fuse again.
- There's a larger diversity of creeps to fight now.
- The afterlife, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and the Dragon ball wishes have all been greatly altered.
- In the beginning the creeps drop random items to help you out at the start.
- You can no longer farm, meaning you can't cheat with Piccolo/Bebi/Cell etc, if you want the stats your summons/clones must be within 1.5 screen lengths!
- Stat multipliers fixed for partial numbers (No more rounding off of stats if you are on 125% stat multiplier as an example).
- Saga Bosses can now use spells, including several beams attacks, healing and other abilties depending on the boss, they are also smarter in chasing but less agressive and less insane on stats
- Terrain updated to match the series
- More than 70 models and 50 skins added
- Battling with other heroes give live xp/stats
- All chars have a sense button meaning you can track down nearby bosses or enemies, but only within 3.5 screen lengths
- Several abilties added/altered/replaced (eg Sprit Bomb, Final Destruction)
- The visual effects have been buffed up, the abilities look closer to the series now, also visuals such as making a wish have been updated to look closer to the series as well
- The User Interface now has a custom Shenron UI replacing the old Human User Interface.

i played the map in single player..i like the terrain its much better than the old but the guko's model and vegeta now suck..why u used that were there is already better models of guko outthere..am will host this when i have time..

Played it and found a Major error! If Goku used his spirit bomb in the arena and died he would become hostile to whoever he fought!

"Terrain" is amazing! Though when we were fighting in the southern forest we experienced severe lag. Plus the androids tunnels (not the cave itself) looked odd and was not at all at pair with the rest of the map, too squared i think. I really liked the tall grass platoons, true dragon ball.

The "Gameplay": Its Dragonball, what can i say that hasn't been said?

Thanks robot-dude. Arphax depends on which you mean? These came from people who made models for me personally or i made myself. Are you takling about ESF models? Roguewave, yeh I noticed there's a lot of DBZTributes out there lately, I played a few online, there was one also called Supreme I think. Anyway this one had too many changes for me to mention, since 9.3 I changed all the custom abilties again, made new terrain, made the saga baddies have their own spells, new afterlife, new wishes, more random creep types, new board, move the stat multiplier and fusion timer to the top, added the game mode and saga in the board, added power levels to compare with others, add new abilties like spirit bomb and final destruction, added sense to all chacters where they can sense anyone within a certain range, updated tooltips and other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head. Also the map was made more simple, Cooler has more focus on his clones and no base building, Bebi has more focus of absorbing the Z fighters, Gohans great saiyanman was replaced with Fatherson kameha. Anyway I guess you'll notice the differences when you play it. I think the powerlevels in the board is something people will take some time getting used to, but I think people like knowing they have the highest power level, which I replaced it over the stat multiplier. Anyway, I'll add some pics later on..

Tx for the input. Oh that was on purpose actually, making him in the air, and hes about 20% transparent at the moment and he should vanish shortly after. But I think I'll be changing that ability completely so it just creates one big Kamehameha wave instead with both firing at the same time.

yes esf models are pretty nice it should suit your map well...:thumbs_up:

The tarrain is awasome and it's rly funny to play again, but i found a bug i guess.
well if you drop your tikket insted of using it you whon't be able to pick up any tikket anymore.
happend when a team mate gave me his tikket since i was stronger and he needed to train, he later complained that he couldn't pick up any so we tried to give him and we ended upp all stuck in hell. sad way to loose.
also it would have been nice if you could add saga to that ledderboard so we can see how strong saga is

After playing I must say I'm impressed, never expected to see v10.

I like how characters like Piccolo and Geti Star can farm but only on the same screen.

But as a question, it seems whenever I try to get the Dragon Radar it never drops on the ground (or at least I cannot find it).

But anyways good job, looking forward to what you do in the future.

Oh yeah the DBZ tribute Supreme XD was made by me when i was a noob map maker!! if i had to remake the whole map it's would be like BattleStadium DON :) since i am in the team maker i got access to good dbz effect but im retired from dbz world

i saw u put lot effort on it i just hope poeple will like it as Elite but anyway i think dbz is dead :/

BTW : Dbz tribute supreme/rebirth is nothing compare to what i can do now thast why i am making Naruto Tribute from Scratch :p

if my clan was about dbz i would help u to advice ur map but im naruto side now >.>

You fuck up some hero strategies, like vegeta or gotenks or trunks cannot tops high level as 65 first tourny like i was able to do in old time

The terrain is very nice, some feature was good but there is ALOT work to do to being able to compare it to Elite or other dbz map i saw : i think dbz tribute is outdated i rarely seeing dbz hosted map :/ poeple left for dota or other anime's

i dont know if you are the real gotenkz but if you are i think you could have done better & i hope u fix all glitch found threw years.

Personally None of my old or current Member will like this map due to some cons bring in >.> i think elite can give more >.>. some poeple might like it but Poeple like me that play this map over 100000000 time for 5 years will still prefer 9.3 Ultra or elite

I went crazy making the map 16 hours a day and decided the only way to finish it was to travel around the world searching for the dragonballs and wish for it to be finished :)

Ok nah that didn't happen, but seriously I'm glad you asked, it's a bit off topic to talk about it here though. If enough people actually care what happened to me I'll gladly put something on my site about it. To stop people from asking the same thing here, to sum it up, basically a lot of bad things happened preventing me from continuing the site or the map. This included the fact that it was heavily impacting my outside life. My computer fried itself and although I fixed it temporarily it got worse over time before I could no longer use it. I managed to scalvage the last back up of my map using HDD recovery software just incase I wanted to ever start again. But a good few months had already passed and I figured it was a sign to stop. I've been travelling heaps over the years and when I returned back home, all of the sudden I felt like finishing the map. I don't know why, it's crazy, but yeh.

Sorry for just dissapearing I do have my reasons, but really there's no excuse..

Some1 stole my gotenkz account long ago, luckily it was free after 5 years, ive taken gotenkz in uswest. Anywhere else its not me. Generally though if I said I was me on bnet, it wouldn't be me. I almost never logon under gotenkz/lordaeron unless im beta testing etc.

relasing this map so late :/ lot poeple stop playing dbz tribute, 2 years ago it was one of the most playing game,

if you want to make your map popular you will have to find some B.net clan support for advice glitch & lot more, by doing this i became in team editor of BattleStadium DON You should tcheck this out Gotenkz might give u some idea for good beam effect :p

good luck with your project : for my own lot poeple wish i continue dbz tribute but im not in mood & i wont ever!!After my Naruto tribute i might make a custom dbz arena ^^ with lot mui spell and technique :D would be nice and kind of unique xD

Funny thing is, I can never find anyone playing any custom maps I download from here. Everyone plays that DotA garbage.

hmmm and maby do something with vegeta, why is big bang attack learned afther final flash, it makes no sense final flash is something he uses later vs cell final form while big bang is first used against android 19.
also Final flash is suppose to be huge combining own energy power with natural power, kinda vegetas answere to spirit bomb.

so here just an idea, make final flash somewhat later so it's hes ultimate move or right before explosion but yeh you get the idea. also the thing about final flash is that since it is so huge it takes time to charge so normaly it would be usless in my eyes since most of the characters have verry strong instant cast and bosses are verry strong so a loang charging skill wouln't be usfull unless you have someone to draw the attanison away, but if you add like a pushback aura when hes charging it would be another story.

also the instant cast is kinda annoying me, it just dosn't feel like Dbz i know it's not suppose to be 100% exact but to get a smal variation from all the 100 other dbz tribute games maby make all have some charge time so you accually have to choose if you wanna go for a quick close combat fight or use all you energy on a massive Ki attack. ofc add a rotating system so ppl just dosn't go behind during the chargea dn whole blast goes to a waist, if it is possible.
and then maby add a power upp ability that drains mana but gives more damage to the close combat fighting like 100mana/s = 500+ damage or something or maby + 500 stats, just an idea :grin:

make this comeback something big will ya

Cell can sense the andoirds using his sense button if it's on easy mode.

Vegeta used Final Flash on Jeice on Namek long before he learned Big Bang.

Charging spells is a possibility, it's just that it will take a lot of new balancing to implement that.

Gohan needs to unlock his potential first, I might change his pontential later on though.

I've seen the models and spells as of late, they look good. If the creators of the models want to submit for the map I'll check em out. Mainly though I need some proper animations and none of that arms behind the back - head forward walking style. I know it's how anime people walk but it looks weird on wc3 to me. I'll update the spells once I get a good collection of well animated models. Right now I don't think the current cosmetics are that bad, I improved them heaps since 9.3.

last time i checked vegeta did only use 1 beem vs jeice and that wasn't Final flash, but the beem he used vs recoome had a similar stance but he didn't use the name final flash and the colour of the beem and effects weren't the same, atleast thats how i remember it, i might have forgot some smal details.

and charging spell isn't something nessesary i just thought it would be cool

Found a pretty nasty bug!

Occasionally if Cooler dies from friendly-fire, he stays dead. I was in a game with an Android 13 and he used his Bomb on a saga boss which killed me (the bomb that is). My character portrait disappeared and I never rezzed at the Geti Star.

The Geti Star was still alive at the time, I was somewhat close to it. In Bio Broly's area. Also, no one made a wish recently. Forgot to mention in my last post that I was not in Hell either. I was just permanently dead.
