Saddly DBZ tribute has joined LOAP as far as maps go. BUt atleast you preserved the orignal authors' dignaty by naming it differently so I guess it gets approved for now atleast.

Yet my name is still on it? I can see just from that little detail that you really put a lot of effort into making it your own, right? I have nothing against other people making their own versions, but come on. I wasn't informed of this, it still has my name on it, and you seem to be taking credit for things I've already done.

Wow adampalicki, it seems as though you don't want credit at all...
I also realize that everyone edits this map.

But..
This was a simple edit so me and my friends can play, I didn't mean to get into this so called "Tribute Drama".
All i did was host this map, and a whole bunch of people started playing. I'm sorry for taking credit, but there was never a newer version after 1.5. After i saw 1.6 with the new Cooler, i was literally sick to my stomach! It had a shitty icon, and DBZ story-wise... he would have never had a chance with any character on the map.

Just wait a few weeks and this map will never be played again.

And finally! someones going to make the geti star and cooler an actual decent player, because every time i enter any dbz tribute map ppl try to avoid or start without the cooler which seems a sort of waste of designing time. Any great your improoving him and his brothers/ clones so keep it up. (p.s: im downloading this as we speak)

Why do you allways have to make the maps that weight their maximum?

4 Mb for What?
Please remove the loading screen, and leave the default one without a description please.

The map takes a time to load, so it will be better for players to know who alllready loaded, and who didn't.
+The map size will be reduced.

But 4 mb OMG! Stop making maps like that. I hate it ;(

Yet another dbz "improved" by another person. This is greaaaat. DBz reaches its climax of fun when everybody (even the current editors) start making changes that are not needed. This map is the same as almost every map (loap, gods land, etc), everyone is making their own version as the game continues to get worse and worse. I hope you are all happy >.>

Of course its improved!
I mean... you can add all the new shit you want and tell everyone not to play any version but that one (Extrerted *coff*), but this version is solely for fun.
i updated and changed a few new things to get a good "feel" out of DBZ Tribute.. like what it used to be 3 years ago when Gotenkz was in action.

Geti Star was pretty hurting; in addition, the gold mines were complete shit. More and more Geti Harvesters = more LAG. So i simply got rid of them and made Cooler more fun to play with. Nothing is more annoying than a Z Fighter coming and fucking your mining up.. AMIRITE!?

You can call this a "improved" piece of shit, i honestly don't care. Just have fun playing it.

Crazedkilla, i like this map ! I enjoys playing as Cooler but i found him very weak compared to Broly same lvl whereas i got the Sayans items and he didn't have any power upgrades.
And i killed goten and trunks, Piccolo, Trunks and i died on Goku and Trunks like 10 times (or more).
First : when i killed Z fighters, i got more stats, but only if i kill them with Cooler himself and not a copy, and that sux cause Cooler must have like 100 copies at a certain lvl.
Second : We don't get the 1.25x stats if we the next "data form" level cap and that sux.
Third problem : the upgrades for getti star (base) are not efficient, gotenks lvl 150 could rape my base which got 40 k life (many upgrades ^^). You shoulda increase them when he reachs a specific level.
Fourth problem : when the base is destroyed (getti star), i always can Scan for powers, but i can't go in hell and resurect normaly... so the game ends whereas the base is very weak (weaker than Bio Broly base at a high lvl) ^^.

I think if you fix the third and first problem, it will be far better !
Btw i like this map.

Yes i found how to use it right.
The problems are now :
1) The base which sux whereas I look for completing sagas, tourny or killing Z fighters in order to gain power and not by killing a lot and a lot of creeps.
2) I don't understand how the upgrades (datas) works when you kill or die on a z fighter (it works often it also can not work o_0). And when you get the Data complete, those upgrades are still working ?
3) And when the Geti star is destroyed, i can't resurect in hell as androids.

Ok. Now i understood how to play xD
but the problems are still that the base is weak, if you are a bit weaker than the Z fighters and they attack you, they can kill many of your clones in two spells and then you will be able to kill them once your base will have been raped and after that they just have to resurect, kill you and that's over whereas all others characters can be played during the entire game.
As for Buu : in Hints it's said "Buu's power comes from absorbing ...." but when you perform ONE absorbtion that's finished cause Kid Buu is not able to absorb anymore.
And for Bebi : i think if Oozaru can be reverted by Bulma (without the cut scene that make you invulnerable) and retransform again in order to take a Z fighter's body ? lol that idea sux but Golden Oozaru is not as fun as super bebi.

Well i see that rules dont apply for you seeing as how you got an unprotected version of extrerted and edited it without my permission or ikcilapmadas AKA the Authors. Btw your welcome for making dabura, Bebi's nuke, goten and trunks tactical flanking, and alot others i wont let the list go on. I suggest you start a legit version from dbz tribute v9.3 ultra.

What Sean said. Now, before we go off on the whole "You guys didn't make the game either" thing, well.. The last "official version" was 9.3, which was abandoned years ago. Sean and myself have worked on creating our own unique versions, starting with 9.3 as a base. They may not be perfect, but we have worked hard to make our versions of the game as enjoyable as possible. We always give credit to the original authors, and we don't use anything without permission. This is what seperates the two of us from the makers of these other versions. Crazed_Killa has the right idea, offering an alternative for people that want one. However, I can't say that I'm a fan of having one of my (And Sean's) maps ripped off while it is still being actively worked on. The thing that annoyed me the most was not being told about the map, then seeing it being uploaded and approved by a resource mod, when it was pretty obvious that it was just a straight rename with a few minor changes (Some of which had already been made by myself in a newer version).

Anyway, I have nothing against a little competition. There's absolutely no way I can prevent anyone from playing or downloading this, and no way to convince you to restart from a version that wasn't ripped off from me. I suppose I'll just have to work harder to win this little popularity contest.

At last, the long awaited 1.8 has been released!
First off, I'm terribly sorry for all this "Drama".
I honestly didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings here; after all, Its just a Warcraft 3 map. (It'll be dead after Starcraft II comes out.)
Tanasren, Metal Cooler is fine the way he is. You just need to know how to use him right. I'll implement new things for him and updates later on in the future, but I've been extremely busy with my senior year lately.. I'll try and keep up with you guys, (Hell, I still gotta balance my WoW playtime!)

In the current meantime, I hope you all had an awesome Thanks-giving Day.

You know... there wouldn't be so many versions coming out if the makers PROPERLY protected the map, to the extent that it'd take a pro to be able to edit it. I'd say re-make the entire map, get a clan dedicated to the map, and start it off in a new direction. Make it popular so that people wouldn't even WANT to play a cheated version.
