Crazy Dwartf Race V1.32c

This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
Racing for survival:

The main mechanics that distinguishes CrazyDwarfRace from regular races are the modernization of vehicles and the modernization directly on the track.

It is impossible to simply get ahead and lead to the finish, because at this time rivals fighting with each other will become stronger, and sooner or later you will start to yield to them in speed and other parameters.

To improve transport, you need to gain experience by destroying rivals, and therefore it is important to always be in the thick of things.

Decisions about the choice of a particular skill should be made right on the go, adapting to the situation and looking for the perfect balance between speed, defense and damage.


The game is balanced so that all players move more or less evenly,

For example, when choosing bonuses, you are more likely to receive exactly the bonus that is more suitable for tracking the position and condition of vehicles.

Therefore, even if your car has already caught fire and only a few seconds are left to die, you always have a chance to survive.

In the game, it’s not so important for you to overtake your opponents, but how important it is to keep up with them. To do this, you can use numerous workarounds and all possible accelerations.

Workarounds are initially closed and open automatically once per minute.

Most passes can be opened independently, exploding barrels or using special bonuses.


The choice of path is very important, since movement on grass or water can significantly slow down transport.

Fight, gaining strength for the last round, and, having gathered all the fighting power, cut the road to the finish line, destroying everything in its path.


At the beginning of the game, a random mode is automatically set, which can be changed within 60 seconds.

There are six modes available in the latest version of CrazyDwarfRace.


1.Racing

Standard mode for speed, in which you have to drive 3 circles and overtake rivals.

2. Retention

The player who lasts in the leaders for more than 3 minutes wins.

Teamwork against time-leading players is important here.

3 fight to the death

The winner is the player who has earned 20 kills, with death deducted from the account.

Still, you need to try to keep up with other players, since the use of the Return and Rescue abilities will reduce your score.

Therefore, it is very important to pump vehicles not only in damage, otherwise it is highly likely that when you reach 15 frags you will begin to lose the advantage on returns.

4.Without improvements

Race for 3 laps, but for the whole game you are given 1 point of improvement. Your chosen ability will be your only permanent advantage.

To win, you have to compete for bonuses, actively using workarounds and shooting.

5.Without bonuses

Removes all bonuses from the card, so the only way to get unexplored abilities is to visit the PitStops.

The mode is quite complicated, since you can no longer pick up the save bonus and move to other players in the event of a lag.

6.Hunting

All the same standard mode for three circles, however, having seized the leadership, you become a victim for whom the hunt begins, because any enemy shell will instantly destroy you.

X-Ray (NEW)
Protects you from blinding and smoke.

Ingame Quest Log text and messages are dots and signs. So are most abilities. You have no idea what they do.
When you're teleported, you are not facing the right way and going forward will destroy you.
You need to credit everything in the map description: icons, music/sound, everything not coming with the original game.
There's a lot of black 1 or I on the screen in the middle.

Maybe you could make the road/track more visible so you'll know where to go.

All in all it's a really good Carmageddon+Revolt inspired map.

Initially, "Immersion into the Abyss" - it was a kind of comic, as well as a series of works and sketches, which I later planned to create a game.
There are also a few sketches I made on Unity. In fact, only level generation was implemented there. I also wrote a small ambient sound set for him.

I am not enclosing references to models, since I have not laid them out anywhere.
The main part of the models was made by me specifically for the CDR, the rest I did for my other project Hunter_or_Victim, the link to which I attached.

Cool mechanics in this map but its very hard to see where to go, the environment is pretty but very cluttered, hard to tell what is the racetrack and what isnt.

also not very well-explained mechanics, very hard to understand how to use spells etc.
you should focus on clearing up the map to make it easier to understand where to go.

im also not sure if it is a race at all, is there a finishline? or is this just a deathmatch in cars?

Yes, there are problems with guides. I try to make them more understandable with each version.
In fact, yes, the problem is that when you first start you need to deal with everything, and there is not much time for it.
The main problem is to make adequate display tips. There is still some dilemma, in that if you give extra time at the start to deal with everything, it will already annoy in the next game.
Therefore, in the next version, I plan to save locally in addition to achivok also user settings (graphics, prompts, etc.).

Navigating on the track is really easy. First of all, the sandy road is the main path, following which you will definitely not get off. (grass and shrubs by the way slow down)
The second is the "compass". It can be turned on using the [Q] key.
All branches like caves and roads blocked by fallen trees are sideways. By them you can cut the path at your own risk. (a compass will work for them too)

In this version, one mode is available, this is a “race” for 3 laps, it is written about this at the beginning. But yes, the inscription “death match” can be confusing, this is my misstep.
In general, in the next versions more modes will be added and I will try to make it more understandable.

Game is not easy and track is somewhat confusing for the first time, but after a few races I've got used to it.
What is the maximum speed? You've written that Steam boiler upgrade increases it to 25/35/40/45, how much is it in km/h or mph?
Consider displaying current speed somewhere, on multiboard or hero XP bar
Consider a button or command for delaying a start (or pausing game) if you're playing with bots only - to have time to read spell tooltips and setup the game.

Yes, the maximum speed can be improved to 45, another 55 is reserved for improvements for achivement and other modifiers. this is 4500 units / sec. (According to standard warcraft sizes).
In real units of measurement, relative to the size of people, 4500 / s is approximately 100 km / h if I correctly counted. The speed of the game is the maximum, so it speed 45 already 200 or 300 km / h. (Not sure how many percent game speed speeds up)

The speed is displayed on the ManaBarPanel. However, included compass can overlap it .

And "DelayingButton" maybe a really good solution.

Maybe I will switch to new versions, but only with the release of Reforge, or when a custom editor with cJass support appears. Now it’s even hard for me to imagine what could cause a conflict. I do not use memoryhack, but perhaps problems due to changing the names of constants or additional players.

Hopefully, it will. Otherwise fewer people will play it. Also, we won't be approving maps which don't work on the latest patches. Luckily, there's no policy to act upon those already approved which may be in the previously mentioned condition.
