A three players cooperative sci-fi horror map that I made for my friends. Can be single played too. Difficulty can be changed by typing "-dif #". The difficulty is intended to be proportional to the number of players though dif 4 or 5 are also available. It's meant to be finished in no more than an hour of play and has three posible endings that might be not so easy to find.
Hope you enjoy :)
Coming soon
[2017-09-2] Changed Investigate hotkey to X. Grenades in the Cave now respawn every two minutes.
[2017-09-4] Added more quest messages to make the objectives clearer.
[2017-09-8] Map no longer tagged as Campaign. Fixed Grenades not respawning. Fixed quest messages. Reduced AoE of flowers entangle.
[2017-09-11] Changed words to english. Added some few more investigate targets. Fixed gargoyles not turning back to stone sometimes.

Hey man, its a nice map with some neat atmospheric music. A slight problem is that the Investigate ability has the same hotkey with Stop.

My friends and I seemed to be stuck after fighting the hostile viking. We just realized that we need grenades to blow up the acolyte in the altar (If possible, please add infinite grenade source so people can't get stuck) and then we don't know what to do next. Since it must be used on a unit, we can't seem to find any more living unit other than that spider demon in the crypt that only talks when we investigate it. If possible, you can make the objectives more clear since some of them doesn't make any sense or connections, for example we have to kill the devourer before reaching the viking (What makes the ice wall fall then?).

Thanks for the feedback, didn't realize about the S hotkey, i'll change it.
About the acolyte, that is suposed to be optional that's why there aren't infinte grenades, though you are right I think I'll add an infinite supply. To use the Ember soul just stand in front the other ice wall where the viking was and a door will show up. Either way to move on the game you have to take the resources to the ship. The unit has an inventory so you can give it the items. Maybe i should make that clearer too.

Edit: Made the changes.

^ always commenting "Noice", i've seen you around lol!

On topic: I liked the music the most, combat is too bland and single player too tedious.
Still it's fun for an hour or so, so GG.

1. Why is this tagged as Campaign when it's not a .w3n file.
2. Use the other Play Music trigger as the music plays through the sound channel not the proper one.
3. Have all the Marines the same abilities?
4. There's a neutral (dead?) Vorax right north of the ice block in the east.
5. Hand Grenade, Hand Grenade etc. Where's the Medkit? You move slow and cannot hit and run... Batteries? Few too.
6. Could be nice to use Investigate on items as well.
7. Linear gameplay. You find a skull and the barrier breaks when you get there... For some reason it gets back on when leaving the zone.
8. Not sure how you're supposed to beat the spider in single player without any regeneration. If you stand, it regenerates as well.
9. Plants entangle you from not quite a close distance to them.
10. You can break the Devastator by calling it near the east gate which it does not go through.
11. Black spiders are flying on what should be a roof :D
12. The Frozen Skull does not work on the second barrier (where the bot is), hmm...
13. It's almost impossible to finish solo. You can't switch the flashlight between three people so you could recharge while one of them uses it.
14. What if you consume all of your grenades before reaching the Acolyte with the ritual?
15. Saving gets slower and slower as you progress. You might have some leaks.
16. How do you carry all Mechanical Resources playing single without being able to get to the ship for each piece? Or you can? Found the Bonfire, don't know if it worked earlier.
17. Shouldn't the Map item ping the minimap? I hope I don't have to bring the egg back because that slow speed...
18. Fleeing the planet in single player does not end in victory. The other remaining inactive marines are shown.

In singleplayer:

Crashed Viking's player name is still in Spanish.
Grenades should be a hotkeyed ability.
Investigating an egg has an inverted question mark. sized -> size
You should make some doodads into units for Investigate (spiderwebs and icegates, for example).
Items should be represented with unopened crates.
I like the egg-crushing blocks, but you should have the whole crater be visible when the player is on the cliff.
The ceiling spiders are an awesome effect.
Units with no reaction to Investigate:
* Other marines (including the one with the stylish tentacle hat and the ones at the very end)
* Spiderlings
* Flying gargoyles
* Flowers
* Arganor Tower
* Devourer
* Imperial Ship (boss)
Maybe have a way to reread the Epiphany's description, it took me a while to figure out the puzzle without it.
Dying in the Devastator cave and onwards respawns in the Marine's cave.
Without knowing what it did, I used the egg on an non-played marine and had to restart. I suggest making non-player marines drop the item automatically.
Flaming gargoyle sometimes remains in the air instead of reverting to statue when it kills the player.
Not sure what triggers the Devourer popping up, do you have to see the gate leading to the ship or is getting attacked near the throne enough?
Map doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe make it an active item and ping wherever you're supposed to go?
What's with the invincible marines that appear after fixing the ship?
After repairing, there's both an Imperial Ship and a ship whose name is still in Spanish. The Spanish name is used during the final cinematic.
While the end scene was cool, the game didn't end, possibly because the two other marines were still waiting at the spawn point.

Thanks for the feedback.
Map: if you are carrying it when you board the ship you get the option to go to the location.
Invincible Marines: An alternate ending. You can trade items with the Arganor Demon by droping them in front of him. Drop the small egg and you'll unlock that ending.

Amazing map like this class of map that combines adventure and puzzles with bosses also with a very good background music, i think hiveworkshop need more maps like this and hero defense of course.i think this map need to be more big to give an idea of a huge planet and I think there was a bug or 2 with the boss of one of the ships if you can improve those things and make the map as bigger and without doubt would give 5/5 even so it is an excellent map: )
Good Job i hope more updates :D:goblin_yeah::infl_thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
