Cranes are large birds native to Pandaria. Chi-Ji the Red Crane is one of the four creatures known as the August Celestials who watch over Pandaria. These creatures should not be confused with tallstriders.
This bundle includes models and textures for the basic white crane. Other color variants will follow as the textures are processed. It has blood splats, sounds, and footprints.
Intended to be used in Warcraft 3: Reforged. Please credit Blizzard if you use this model. You may also credit Symphoneum for porting the model. This bundle was ported by Symphoneum from WoW assets using wow.export, GIMP, Materialize, Taylor Mouse's Warcraft III Reforged Art Tools for 3D Studio Max, and Retera's Model Studio 0.43 and 0.5_TwilacsNowIn3D_08.

I agree. It’s also hard to find a good sound set. The best I found was the snowy owl. Besides the characteristic owl sound it mostly just has average bird trolls, which is pretty nice. I didn’t look at the raven, that would probably work too.
Honestly, a coordinated effort to get all the basic critters from WoW into the game would be nice.
