Cosmic Twist V2.00 [RMX]

The spell is GUI MUI.

The Spell Description -

The hero Bend the gravity of a target enemy twisting or spinning it in the air for 3/4/5 seconds and when it land the targeted unit will suffer ( It's movement speed -150/-100/-50 ) and will be dizzy from the spinning for 3 seconds making it have 50% chance to miss on each attack.

Well... Being true - I'm not impressed with the spell. I mean, with the spell itself. Not interesting at all =( I expected something more from you.

By the way, in one of the threads near here I was tols, that empty groups still return handles, so leaks. You don't destroy CT_Group[CT], so, you see =\

Yes i did Destroy it .... (call DestroyGroup(udg_CT_Group[udg_CT])

I did destroy it .... also the spell is cool ....... and u adjust the effect like being stunned
when the unit gets back .. but i did dizzy :)

EDIT - No vile1 was the editor of Ages of Myth ... but the creator was Darn-Yak...

Nope he actually does destroy it:
  • Custom script: call DestroyGroup(udg_CT_Group[udg_CT])
The only group he doesn't destroy is CT_DEBUG yet it's not considered a leak...

About the spell's triggering is efficient, leakless, and MUI as usual :)

However, about the spell's idea:

Well i like the idea alot ............. still i made a PS ... to see how it reactes .. with the
most lovely effect for it :) .. trust me the best damn effect for it ............

Well i did it for fun and i was mwaswas meaning very eager to know how it going to be in
triggers so i did it :p ....

Anyway i will post a creative and original spell about 2 days :)....

if msaeed.... i mean Deuterium says it's leakless i wont check it ^^

Anyway i like this spell so i did it and it does not break the rules so i submit it ........

Anyway some people wants to know how to do this spell and wants it in GUI not vJASS..
So i did it in GUI :)

Well, no one is saying it's a bad spell :) and it can be useful... but we were commenting on the idea not being one of the best idea-wise (but in the end, it's not even your idea :p).

I like the idea ;D

But you still haven't learned how to remove those annoying .0000? :p

I would lower the height when spinning the unit, because it looks a bit weird when knocking back all those units and the unit is in the air, don't get me wrong its cool just make some special effects that "shows" how the units gets knocked" or lower the height.

Also make the floating text in color (light blue/gray) and remove .0000 =)

Well great spell again still I get annoyed by that all your new spells got this spinning thing in it.

Change learning button from passive to normal :)

Also learn how to convert string real to integer :)

Who am I to judge this but yeah it has the potential thought it's spinning as all your spells.

Add knockback destroy trees boolean and the knockback I think shouldn't affect air units even if the unit is spinning in the air it shouldnt even hit ground units?

Also add like a knockback damage event so it can be like a little AoE like spell ;)

Add string variable to the special effects, is a pain in the ass here when I'm trying to find better ones :)

  • Floating Text - Destroy (Last created floating text)
Just like special effects, don't have to explain ;)

I do not leak at Floats ... coz i added a life span to the text 3 seconds... it's like an expiration timer for it .....

Anyway not all my spells have spinning effect just now Try my Other spells and u will see....

Well the last one EARTH RAGE .. does not contain any spins :p

yap i tested it!

well for the most part i like it but when it comes that spell went off my screen xD i dont like that but anyway thats up to me to change in code ;)

yeah again spell is MUI, GUI, leakless, lagfree, has nice documentation and ofc spell is made by Rmx xD

so my rating is 4/5! spell is nice after all ;)

Well I've tested it... special effects make it much nicer! However, I mus say that the special effect is a bit too big and makes the area crowded...
And as DD mentioned, it goes off the screen :p

As I mentioned previously, efficient, MUI, and leakless triggering!

So the areas of improvement would be adjusting the Nebula special effect to smaller size (editing the model or using it as a dummy), and I must agree on what BZK said about knocking back units when flying above them :p
I'll advice to decrease height...

change the spam counter to 10

CT_Spam[CT] Equal to 10

that fix some stuff up just that the special effect fadings remains as small dots ...

edit:

HAHAHA so freakin funny when I changed the temp group thingy so you could knockback the units in the air too ;) check it out yourselves :)

Actually baassee is right. Most of your spells seem to involve spinning nowadays.

@the spell: Good as always =) Though i think you should make only units with similar flying height (x-50 to x+50 For example) get knocked back.

Well i like Spinning spell ... the are VERY awesome and full of eye candy ..........
I am now making a Passive abilties spellpack looooooooool :)

1. yes you do, a little bit to much in my opinion like calex3 like his spinning water wave thingies ;)

2. passive abilities suck in GUI cause of the problem with the event unit is attacked can be abused (mostly used in passives ^^)

or make a take damage system sucks in GUI to because it leak like hell :(

3. thought you made spinnging things, lifting things and such, try to go the other way ;)
