CITY FIGHT

Map Info

Map consists of two parts:

First part is a peacefull, strategic, economic race, where you build a city and trying to attract citizens.
Second part is a battle, similar to castle-fight style.

To win the game you have to win both parts.


Part one: Two modes aviable:
1. Population limit: First team who reach population limit will win.
2. Time limit: After a specified time team with more Citizens will win.
Top player can set game mode.
*Your income depends only on city population (auto: every 20sec).

Heroes

Mayor: Guard. Can build shops. Manages municipal services.
Main task: protection, securing food supply.

Architect: Builder. Readily brings out the resources.
Main task: build houses, mining materials.

Engineer: Scientist. Can build tech-buildings.
Main task: provide energy.

All 3 heroes have diffrent abilities and can build diffrent structures.
Outside City you will slowly lose life (if hero dies - will be revieved after 30sec.)

As your City grows, citizens needs will change.
Population will increase only if people's needs are met.

PART 2
Its like castle-fight.
Starting gold depends on population from part one. Base income also.
Three mini-races for 3 hero types. Armor-weapon dependencies.
Your heroes can fight also. Item for heroes aviable in Obelisk.

Events


HUNTING (periodical event)
All 6 heroes will hunt for wild animals (for gold award). Team with more gold will win this mini-game.

HOSTILE ATTACKS (periodical event)
Pigs, wolfs, bears or even bandits can attack your City
and kill citizens (some of citizens, can defend however).

STORM (periodical event)
When the weather changes (rain), you can be sure that random building will be set on fire by lightning.
It will be lost, unless you send fire brigade.

STORM (offensive)
Engineer hero can build Haarp Tower that can create storm over enemy City.
Random structure will be hit by lightning (effect as above).

INFECTION RISK (periodical event)
Random citizen is bitten by a spider. If citizen dies it will transform into a zombie.
Then any citizen killed by a zombie will transform into a new zombie.
If you lose control of the situation all will be lost.
But
If you have Hospital then send ambulance to heal or vaccine infected citizen.
You can also kill first zombie before their number grows.

TERRORIST ATTACK (offensive)
Our pretty Mayor hero has dark secret :) She can build Terrorist Center
Trained terrorist is invisible and will pick up a random target in opposite City.
Before terrorist reach the target he can be killed by enemy heroes with no effect.
But if he reach the destination point he will
suicide and kill units around, also damages structures around.

PART2: ARENA BATTLE (periodical event)
During second part there is Arena Battle when you can confront an enemy team (3vs3)


Destructables


All destructibles will resurect (if there's no units around).
Items on the ground outside City and without unit near it will be removed periodicaly.

Attractiveness:
This value is calculated as follows: the sum of all individual attractiveness divided by flats.
May be necessary to remove low-attractive houses in some cases.

This Risk type of map is truly remarkable due to its complex functionality and how it randomly places its starter locations for every player to give in more play value, I also like how constructing buildings and mining materials is more detailed in to what how our automatic AI maneuver on a default risk like maps, this one is for excellent way to play more with the economy and less straight attack formation. Speaking of attack formation, I am also intrigue on how you give unique towers to defend enemy attacks from your base or how you can move in for a counter.

Much from all the gameplay has given a big compact for the entire map, I wouldn't reply more about the terrain, although it could be more of good suggestion if you can at least give some tile variations for the map, giving it more pleasurable view for players and testers alike.


Overall map can be approved and a must for RISK map players!

This map strangely reminds me one of StarCraft II custom map. Cant remember the name now. Anyway you put a great map here.
Here is my suggestion- make different titles , all map is covered in dirt , change that .

game is not very easy i suppose..
there are random conditions every time you start map. I call then random building in description here. If you press F9 there are listed all conditions.
One time it can be 2 Wheat Farms, other time one Pig Farm. It varies.

Every 30seec citizens comes in your City or leave City. It depends if their needs have been met.

You wrote about towers. Due to my bad english Im not sure if I understood.
You mean summoned Surveyor's tower? If so, all units /towers also/ near enemy base have reduced damage, cause direct attack is not a goal here.
But I saw many times players try steal items from enemy base:) Trucks can't be repaired so after destroing enemy truck stealing wont be possible:D
But I have sad though: this map is a little to difficult for most players

* Allies' resources don't show up.
* Firestations take too long to be made, as there's just no way to get all the requirements in place before one or more buildings catch fire.
* The fire station can catch fire.
* Wild pigs will follow your heroes into the mines.
* Not sure how leveling works, they just suddenly leveled up desptie the tiny amounts of xp found.

* Firestations take too long to be made, as there's just no way to get all the requirements in place before one or more buildings catch fire. 1st time storm is executed after about 16min of game and hits all Cities (so its now unfair). Its possible team will lose a building. Playing alone 3 heores is hard, I Know it, I never said its easy game:)
* The fire station can catch fire. intentional, moreover there's weather change to inform player that storm is comming
* Wild pigs will follow your heroes into the mines. intentional, kill animals is one of surveyor's duty

Too bad there is no AI to test with.

You executed some interesting ideas, mechanically speaking it runs fine.

However, i suppose City Fight is missing some charme, some atmospheric elements. Custom sounds/music/interface for example.
