When the tremors began, our land was torn asunder, opening a gaping tear in the earth.
Two rival expeditions now compete to control the dark below, a land of untold riches and mineral wealth.
However, there are more things than each other to worry about.



Overview
A base builder/defense map with 3-way teams.
2 teams of human players (Up to 3 each) vs Neutral Creeps and each other.

Defend your base, make sure the enemy can't defend their own.
Last person to get eaten by cave-beasts wins.

Author's Notes
PvP by means of sabotage, imbalanced but interesting.
In hindsight, perhaps there was too much focus on directly attacking other players rather than harassing and leaving the neutrals to to do the rest.

Probably best played as a solo or a purely co-op experience; the PvP isn't the the strongpoint of this map.

Chasm is a map with 'Defense / Survival' and 'Strategy / Risk' features that can be played solo, cooperatively, or competitively. It has above average visuals, as well as easy to learn gameplay. See below for a more detailed explanation regarding the map's quality.

FEEDBACK
Gameplay:
The map starts off resembling altered melee gameplay, but it really isn't a melee based map. It has a lot of things a player could do such as build towers, get a hero, collect resources, train an army, and other things. A player does not have to strictly do one thing, especially since this could be a team game.

The map isn't totally symmetric, but it is symmetric enough for both teams to reach a resource around the same time, to have the same amount of building space, to fight the same amount of creeps, etc. Since all players share the same race, balance is not much of an issue even if a specific unit is overpowered or underpowered; both teams have the opportunity to exploit them!
Visuals:
The terrain, doodads, and units all have the same consistent color scheme that looks quite appealing. There isn't a lack or doodads, nor do any areas look overdone.
Miscellaneous:
When upgrading to arcane tower (or something close to an arcane tower), a requirement is named default string.​

I couldn't really test it because I barely had time to do anythin before the underbeast were all over me and destroyed me. Maybe you could increase the time until they attack?

I must say that it's a really good and interesting map.Not sure if i can win it in a singleplayer mode but i still enjoyed it.

There are only two suggestions from me before i give 4/5.

-You should give player a bit more time to build his base and troops before sending creeps to attack.I couldn't handle fourth wave.

-Maybe add a bit more custom models?

FYI, I wont even review a map here without a screenshot... just something to ponder on...
also, if Someone will test this me on Bnet I will review it. kino, I see you got more then one map here so it would be best to test it with you

Just play it solo vs the monsters.
The PvP aspect as mostly broken, you'd be better off playing it as a base defence.

So its broken map? Ehh I'll pass if it's broken. Maybe fix it to be more for single player then?

Broken in the sense that the PvP element is too "direct attack" and not enough "sabotage their defences so monsters can eat them".
As a single player or even team based "player vs monsters map", it works fine.
