Chain of lightning made with triggers for channel ability, attacks, etc.
You can add debuffs, area damage, life steal, etc.
Can be modified to scale with hero attributes
You can use the trigger as you like, it is intended as a basis for more advanced spells
This definitely needs a lot of work for it to be considered acceptable.

The structure of the trigger itself appears to be hardcoded to a great extent. This greatly reduces the configurability of the system, and requires some effort from the user to configure.
