Call of Blizzard

Winner of Cinematic Contest #1.

Playtime is about 20 minutes. Don't judge the map by its cover in other words minimap. I used a lot of doodads that are completely invisible in it.

This is my very first WC3 map submission so I'm excited. The map has been in progress since cinematic competition started over one month ago. The time limit for the competition was 20 minutes so I had to left out some scenes that I wish will make it to my map update whenever I would do that. But for know I want to give this map a rest and see what you think of it.

Enjoy and give feedback. This cinematic should blow your socks away. ^^

If you rate this map I demand you to give your comments too.

[x] Call of Blizzard was the victor in The Hive Workshop's Cinematic contest #1. This cinematic is spectacular! It features a variety of high quality imported models and custom sounds. The camera work and dialog are both excellent. The triggers are stable and the map performs without a hitch. This map's strong point is its terrain: in all scenes and settings the terrain and its elements are uniformly outstanding!

Some trolls have been down rating this map so the resource's numerical rating is highly inaccurate: (IMO) 10/10

edit: Vengeancekael - Added Wolver's rating

Thanks. ^^ I hope so too. There will be few scenes more for this cinematic but I have no hurry to do it now and I feel like taking a break for some time. These new scenes would add more than four minutes don't know exactly how much.

What Wraiths are you talking about? :/ You didn't like it? Well I'm not sure should I feel glad or sad of that. After all this is your second post ever so it must have waked some feelings since you bothered to post.

Well the fact is that everybody can't be pleased. I still like what I made, I didn't think it's random or has bad ending.

But if you would have actually pointed something to fix in other words give critism it would have been a lot better than just saying it's bad. You propably could do better then, right? Didn't think so.

Well I think it was well done, just to random for my liking.
I think you should add a motion when he passes the Ale/beer to his brother, and pull the Sewer Pipe back a bit, its visible.
Also, I liked the dance thats not what I meant about the ending, I meant how the goblin and Darth Vader die.

Hmm I thought the Nazguls never died. Yeah sorry for that sewer pipe all but in the last minutes I was rushning and in a hurry so I didn't have time to adjust it more. I will fix it to the next version and the Ale bottle animation is a good suggestion too. I can change it. Thanks for the critism. You are alright and I would have given you rep but you don't have any forum posts.

Was there anything that could have been imprioved with these Dart Vader and Goblin death scenes?

I can try to fix the floating bottle thing. At the time I did it I made it a projectile but maybe if I use a unit I could fix this.

You should be able to post in the forums section but if you can't you could contact some moderetors or site Admin Ralle by PM.

Incredible boring cinematic. I wall asleep when I was watching this. You have used models, but they are not good, and also you used them badly. I don't recomend this cinematic to anyone, it's so boring. Next time when you are making cinematics, do some action and make it less than 5 minutes. Please.

Fuck you Valtz. :( Somebody spammed the rating down. :( Six hours ago only 10 had rated my map but now 27 so somebody sabotaged the rating totally. Well who cares. People you don't have to listen to him, what he says is total bullshit.

Maybe people just don't like your cinematic? Because the rate is not so good? Aha! Aha! I think you just can't take critisism!? HaHa! That's it! By The Way, what cinematic competition you are talking about? I want to see the other cinematics too!!!

WTF VALTZ. Can u make better??? NO. You just got people to rate his bad so if u ever made one the rating would says urs is better. Don't think ur the best if u can't do better!
Leme gues ur gona lower the rating of all my maps and maps 2 be.
This level had an AMAZING rating 10 hours ago!

@Jaako: Even if he did that, I think you should just respect his comment. Even whether or not it is spam or trash or totally untrue.

Very nice cinematic. I see you took some time to make this. Good job. Some of the voices, could be better though. All voices, except the goblin's; needs to be louder. And the goblin's needs to be more gobliny. It sounded like a girl witch doctor. xD

Good job! Expect to see more comments on the results.

I respect his opinion but I think he crossed then line when he said "I don't recomend this cinematic to anyone".

Oh thanks Wolverabid. :) That's one of the best reviews I have ever gotten.

Hey, you did great on this cinematic must've taken a while for something that long, just wanted to say good job 10/10. There is only one thing i thought would make the ending better, it is to show the explosion but its nothing anyway awesome show.

Well I didn't work 24/7 but it took weeks to make it and I had summer holidays. Somedays almost all I did was making the cinematic. I didn't count time but it took me really much effort to do this. When I make the final version of this the cinematic will be even longer and have new material in the ending. But I can't promise when I could do this or can I but I hope I will find the time again to finish it. Of course I like making these cinematics but the truth is my time is limited and I have much else going on in life. But one day I will return to finish this, even if it would take years but I will finish it.

Thank you. Making the update can take some time since I'm lazy and unmotivated. But when I do make an update I'll mark it in my forum signature so people can see it. As of now I don't see myself making the update in the near future but someday.
