BTNWoodenShield

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
A pretty basic wooden shield that can be used for an equipment or ability.

Created in Photoshop using this icon as the shape of the shield and this for the shield texture. Both used textures were created by Blizzard. My first submitted icon, I hope it proves useful for your map!

Give me some credit if you use it, yeah?

EDIT 1: Darkened image, shaded borders of the shield a tad.

Well, I'm quite sure that this is the trace you used for the icon: Black Dragonscale. The wood looks like freehand work, but I could be wrong. Eh, you should at least tell us in the description that it's Blizzard traced icon. I did something like that before... Fire Impact
Also, I agree with AlienAtSystem at what should be changed. And also, you need some kind of shading at the borders of the shield, I mean... at the edges of borders, inside the shield like this:

The wood texture is good, but it could be a bit darker and contrasty. light wood is often soft wood (and who wants a soft shield).

Administered the suggested edits, added to the description and gave due credit to Blizzard.

The rim looks odd, maybe you should either remove it or to try another material. A wooden shield with extra wooden rim seems senseless to me.

I'll absolutely consider it. For now, I'll leave it as it is.

Seems like your first icon? Work in Progress pictures please.

Yes, my first icon. As for a progress picture, I'm afraid the one I added to the description is the closest thing I have to that. I apologize if I snubbed that requirement; I failed to act by it.

Thank you for your feedback everyone!
