make the blades a bit more thicker and sharper (if they aready arent cuz its hard to see as there thin) and i dont know how you fit that yellow thing into a hand to hold it :/

Yeah, they could need a bit more highlighting, because the blades looks a bit dull when so small and resized. And well, you hold the brownish thing with your hand, and the golden/yellow is supposed to be on top of the hand. If you understand

This is certainly a change from all the sword icons. good work for trying something new. next time, you might want to try something more complex or more elaborate and detailed.

It looks rather frail, more like a decoration than an actual weapon. Try to make the blades larger and make a more sturdy grip. It's also hard to tell how the grip works looking at the icon, wouldn't it be easier if it had some sort of glove?

Someone likes the Shadow Officiator from RYL. 
It looks cool, but you might make the handles metallic too. Signs of age could make it look even cooler!
