BTNShout

Somekind of shout or what ever with fire in the background (maybe a flaming shout who would know?) It's freehanded except 2 layer effects for the fire (I really couldn't make it nice looking otherwise) and made with paint.net (first time I use it since for some reason photoshop won't start since my graphic card got busted and my comp went through some recovery for no reason at all)

It should work but I'm not certain since I can't test it because of my busted graphic card (that is mentioned above) has some weird error in the 3D accelerator that makes the computer crash when a game is started.

If you use it, credit is not needed but is really appreciated. Don't modify without my permission.

P.S. If you want proof I made it just ask.

Update: I remade the person from scratch with better form on the torso, fingers and more anatomically correct as koicheen asked. I also added some innerglow (freehanded) on him.

Zombie.: Another shilouette with some guy in the middle of it, we've been seeing quite a lot of these lately. Please, at least add reflections of fire to the man's body to give it a 3D-ish shape. Also, I don't see why this is called "shout". You could also come up with something that emphasises that particular act.

enjoy: Could be useful.

Add more detail to the to the general shape of the man. Right now he looks like a stickman who ate to many hamburgers.

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Defy_Pain.jpg - Hero you can find how the torso should look like, the rest of the figure shouldn't be a problem. However if you do need more guidance feel free to contact me or to look through the remaining guild wars space the the mention web page.

The flame is not photorealistic yet it gives a idea of what it is, also i think this way it actually looks better. Overall not bad at all.

...Which makes it no less awesome :p. Great job on the flames.
Hmm... maybe some fingers? They're not easy to make, and we probably won't even see them on the icon, but it would still make it more realistic.
The elbows are too round, make them a bit more "edgy".
And the thins (upper leg area) should be wider then the shins.
Not much of an icon maker, nor a skinner, but i think this would improve it.

The icon comes with everything that's needed, so kudos for getting past the first hurdle. However, on a purely art orientated view, I'm not the biggest of fans.

Sure, this would pass in-game, but it's not special: it's not unique, it doesn't stand out. The man inside the flames looks disproportionate, and the fire itself looks far too cartoon-esque, even for a WC3 related item. On a whole, the icon is bland and boring, and could do with a few touch ups to spice things up a little bit, and make it a really good creation.

2/5, as it stands.

Hope this helps!

Maybe it would look a bit better if the fire actually moved around the man (don't overdo that though), also fire would usually leave some kind of glow effect on the ground.

I'm now giving a 3/5 and approved, but I think this icon could be improved quite easily.

I'll remake the fire from scratch and make it less symmetric (as billy said I should do in chat) I'll also make it so it's better looking when resized, at the moment the fire looks better in the original image. Anything else besides the flames that needs fixing before I go nuts and then have to remake another part of the icon?

Thanks for making this, I will be using this promptly. It fits a niche which I need filled perfectly. I do not disagree with prior comments, but it certainly serves my purposes nicely. 4/5
