BTNOverQueen

Made for Overqueen model created by dickxunder

Really liked this model, and I felt like it needed a icon made for it specially.

I changed the red part of her crown to purple because in the map I made she's one of the undead heroes, and out of the existing races she's most suited for undead. The red crown version could work if she was made as a Burning Legion hero or I was thinking that icon could also be used for a Bloodelf which is why I added the green crystal. It doesn't take away so much from matching the ingame model but at same time it makes it possible to use the icon for something else..

Idk, should I add the red crown version also in the bundle?

I'm pretty certain all of previous mods left a lot of guidelines for moderation; enjoy, 13lack and me in particular.
To be as polite as I possibly can, I can only do as much as recommend you to look them up.
The guy very clearly stated he's working on pixel art for all his creations. He's been as insightful to provide a plenty of WIPs.
I don't see what are you trying to achieve with that attitude. You're here to look up on people, not down on them.
If you'd like to debate, my PM/VM is available at all times.

On topic, I love that you're taking some of the very popular models and giving them something that they need. This model in particular has been used for years with usually a very pitiful screenshot icon. This is both a nod to the author, and a very pleasant surprise to the modding community.
Keep these icons coming, love 'em.

Thank you for standing up for me,
As a newcomer here I was expecting having to prove my methods which is why process images were provided in most of my works (only one is missing).
I think The Panda either didn't read my explanation or is unfamiliar with pixel art, so I wrote a more detailed information on my Sylvan Enchantress icon to which he has not yet replied and I assume he hasn't read it yet.
I don't wish for any drama around my work, but in case there is still a problem once he reads my detailed explanation I am up for joining in with the debate. Though this is really unlikely to go any further considering Murlocologist already approved some of my icons which are done with same methods and actually with less process images shown.

I don't take any offense from what The Panda is doing, I am used to more strict artistic websites.. However it does confuse me as to why a simply edited screenshot would be approvable and a complete remake using screenshot as a base wouldn't be.

Thanks for your compliments on my artwork, I definitely agree that these models were desperately needing better icons than simple screenshots! The community here is great, I feel very welcomed and am appreciating the support and help I've been given, glad I can give something back to such a nice community.

Yeah, please post it at least 2048x2048 pixels with 600% zoom-in because creatures like us couldn't see very well.
Also how do I bypass the maximum limit for Chrome's zoom? It's currently stuck at 500% but I think I need it at least 975%.

Working on any size is allowed. If screenshots are unedited than they should not be posted in icon section, but be included with corresponding model/texture resource thread. If screenshot icon is significantly edited, it is reviewed as other icons. This icon is significantly edited.
If author doesn't have large image to post, he is expected to keep wip images until section gets familiar with style he is displaying. Far as I am concerned, author has posted enough of wip images for icon section to get familiar with his works.
Also, once you create icon for existing model, you can send a message to model author to add a link with your icon in his resource's thread as one of the assets.

Icon looks good. Approved.
