The shell seems too flat to me, make it more grooved and rigid and maybe re work the shading a little to give it more of the 3d look towards it. The leafs behind the shell could have better highlights towards them.
Don't get angry Panda, but I kinda like how it looks right now. It's not a spherical object to be super 3D, but flat half of clam shell.
About leaves behind - Maybe I can make more hightlights for them, but I don't want to make them stand out, I draw them just to be simple back ground.
Again, sorry and don't mind.

The thing pop out (red circle) makes the shell unnatural.. if you see the actual seashell it is totaly no such pop out or that rectangular thing is actually behind the shell. maybe try to remove it to see the results? (just my opinion)

Well, I don't think this causes any problem. Artist should have creativity, not applying the actual real world references for a great and popular community like Wc3. He has drawn an unusual shell and those ribbons and this is pure creativity. Also, this is a Murloc related item, and it should be unique because Wc3 is unique.

I also agree, and I think this kind of critique should be more of a suggestion than a requirement. It's a insignificant little detail that majority of users wouldn't notice, and even having noticed it it can still be accounted to it being part of a fantasy world.
